Let’s dance the night away,
No thoughts, just moves,
Maybe a couple spins to a groove,
After it all stops I am in the mood,
I build up a sweat,
A lovely little appetite,
If I dance all day,
I can dance all night,
If the right music drops,
Then my body is a mind of its own,
It does its own thing,
Did you see the twinkle in my toes,
I slide across the dance floor,
I own it tonight, I got its 7 digit number,
I won the battle of the dance, not just the fight.

I like the spirit of this
Thanks, I appreciate it. I was trying to make it funky, yet, a bit cocky, but like really cool, like the story told a story a really good night out.
Man, I’ve been reading your posts for a while and this one resonated with me more than all your other content. I really dig it. 🙂
Oh thank you thank you…Any certain line caught you? Or you like the complete work?
How is your 2015 going so far? You getting prep for the Valentine’s Day weekend?
I’m ok. My 2015 is alright. I’m actually going to see an August Wilson play on Valentine’s Day, play titled ‘King Hedley II.’ That’ll be nice. What about you?
The whole thing hit me. But in particular I really, really, really liked this part:
“If I dance all day,
I can dance all night,
If the right music drops,
Then my body is a mind of its own,
It does its own thing”
