JEALOUS

jealous

Never been,
Don’t see the point,
Okay maybe as a kid,
I was poisoned,
I was told it was wrong,
So I decided that’s right,
Maybe wrong to others,
They got too much pride,
I am in the open,
I live my own life.

🙂 As a kid, I was taught the definitions of jealous & envious – my memory of that time/lesson still are, “envious means you aspire to have, to, be like that some day, so now you have your goals and challenges to meet – – Jealous means you wish that you have what someone else does and will destroy them, to take it away from them, to have for your own..” – LOL – even though this may not be Webster or Reader’s Digest Word Power defs – to me, I still rather like the differentiation between the two terms, AND while I must admit to being Envious (ain’t my ‘to do list’ chock full for more lifetimes than I’ll actually survive long enough to live?” LOL – I can’t help but go back to the def of Jealous and think, ‘well, that’s not what I want…or how I wish to obtain it….” 🙂 Trying to catch up after long absence, and will drive everyone here in my followers list crazy – so, you first one in reader when I logged in tonight to catch up, at least some – I’ve been doing alot of envying, I guess, this past year, cuz my To-Do list got so large, I slipped on important things – – LOL
