Pick & Choose
Most times I watch the clock,
As it ticks,
Licking my lips,
Fixating on a flip,
Moving like a shark,
But I can’t swim,
Tank top on,
My sleeves gone with the wind,
Where do I stand,
Better yet,
I know who I am,
Whether I am falling,
Or crawling,
I for sure got the grip,
I may want for more,
But I aint missing a thing.
