How do you write what people actually want to read?

The answer is simple, write for your kind of audience. You know people who like your type of interests. So read what others write or read and write in that genre and be in the places where people read and looking for content.

Be consistent, and once they find you and read, hopefully they like you and continue.

What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?

Hmmm there has been a lot, but can’t remember, but I going to say went to a country on a road trip where I didn’t know the language and no translation help and said life is about adventure yolo. Okay, maybe not yolo, but I was like, let’s see what happens. If we make it out of this one, it’s going to go down in the books of random and spontaneous efforts in my life.

How do you make time for self-care?

Self care is important. I show up for self care. I could be a question to self checking in on how I am feeling today. What are my wants and needs. How I am showing up for me and for others and do I just need a day.

Sunday is my dedicated self care day. I take that day very seriously. Whether it’s a massage, good food, a walk outside, going to somewhere quiet and listen to the wind in the air. It also looks like long showers, aromatherapy, a nap at noon, cleaning and listening to music. Trust me, there is more, I am so tapped in to self care.

What’s a place you visited that felt like home?

A place I visited that felt like home was Brampton. I was like hey this feels so real. I felt like the community and all the things going on, was just like home.

I might have to head back to Brampton one day.
