I love a good book. It’s a special time shared reading and taking in the words of an author, an authority and experience. I have a long list of books I want to read, but of course, I don’t have unlimited hours, as you can check my Goodreads book review listing and my Bookshelf Page on my website for more on books I am currently reading, and planning to read.

I am huge fan of sports & athletes and I love their stories.

1st on my list is, The Mamba Mentality by Kobe Bryant. As a former athlete in Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, and Cycling, I can be highly competitive and have a strong personality. I feel I will have a lot to pull from this book.

2nd on my list is, Unlabel by Marc Ecko. Being a creative and a lover of fashion, culture and identity, this book is look in the right direction to understand my style and vision.

In my leisure time, I can’t choose to just doing. I love a good research session of information. I love reading new articles and listening to music. The vibe is always well with me. And I am always writing down and saving things in my interest for a later date and creative ventures.

Living in New York City, it’s tough to see everything, as there is so much to do. As soon as you think you experienced alot, the city reminds you that you have not. They pop out a new experience, show, broadway play, secret hideout, and restaurant galore. 

As for attraction, there are some core places that are key to New York that even native new yorkers and new york resident don’t experience in their entire time living in New York.

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

Well I took it further from the prompt for laughs and giggles, a pet with superpowers. Oh man, my pet would cause so much harm. I think of movies like Honey I Blew The Kids, and animation like Super Pets and The Minions. If my pet was to understand one thing, of course it would be I love you and I am your master and to under every command I say translate to an action to do. 

It’s such a weird question, of course you want you pet to understand language and emotions. But surely, it’s a pet, it doesn’t have school and trainings and control of life like humans, but hey common communication, understanding and feelings would be interesting. Lastly, they need to know baths are not bad, they should want to do so, and help me make the best pet youtube channel in the world. :) ha ha

My dream job is simply this, me being me and happy. For if I can’t be myself in which many jobs don’t allow unless it aligns, my dream job is working for myself. And the task of the job is helping other with services, conversation and knowledge to change the results they want to change with my help. I also would like to go do in the history books as one of the best ever creative professional. #simple

As a leader you wear many hats. You should feel comfortable or wanting to fill these hats. There are so many ways to swing the title leader. I have 5 traits a leader should have. Reminder, they are not all but core value they should have.

  1. Empathy: Understanding the team.
  2. Vision: Goals & Ambition, and having a direction to go with the team.
  3. Integrity: Honesty and Openness
  4. Discipline/Values: Leading by example
  5. Always learning and improving through communication and feedback.

If I could, I would. If I can’t, then it just aint. I want to pick something sensible and real, but I can’t. I don’t know what I could say should be be invented. So I went to Google, and typed in what should have not ever been invented, and I will see what I cosign with and give you an answer…. Hold on I will be right back. lol

Okay my apologies, I went down a rabbit hole and found very stupid inventions. So other from weapons of mass destruction, I deem anything that is just flat out stupid, which may be funny, should have never been invented, even though some of our amazing things in life people did think was stupid and then we were like OMG, this is necessary. Okay, we can cancel out anything nuclear, so at least we know it would take a bit more than a person with a itchy trigger finger to whip out the world.

Looking through some old documents I came upon a card. Well, it was a few cards, I found from past employees and co-workers I have worked with, that wrote some beautiful words towards me. The feeling of appreciation and love, they showed me for me being myself and the compassion I shown them and encourage them to have while we worked together. These cards were not forced and I feel the words just spilled of the tongue so easily.

There were two employments I worked at that the people loved me and really showcased it daily. You can say I was their favorite manager, there favorite and positive beacon of light as they came to work and greeted so warmly and nice. However, afterwards I gave them a bunch of work and say get busy, scram, and they just smile and laugh and say anything for you Jixi, you are such a grinch. Okay, maybe they didn’t say I was a grinch, they did call me mean, but I guess in a playful way. 

Where ever I work, I always get the best out of people, as I always give the best into people, and I will accept nothing less. If we both going to slave at work together and go through the woes, we might as well have fun, achieve greatness, eat some tasty lunch or breakfast, before we get tired and go home safely to our families. Even though I was a hard ass to everyone, I was the most kindest hard ass in the game. 🙂

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Life is always going, we collect stuff, and it’s hard to let go of stuff. For me, I have had way too much I built and haven’t let go because I am careful, I had never had stuff, and I actually really appreciated the stuff I got. Material things are definitely not my source of value, but it is something I have obtained and has now become clutter.

We are marketed and targeted to, to shopping, eat, travel, improve and develop. We ideally have the choice but we need to mental weight to stick our values.

The clutter I really want to reduce in my life is time stuffing, the rat race feeling, and also anything that take me away when not needed from family, my vision statement and values/mission statement.
