we all go through hardships
what do you do when the car flips
sitting on time
feeling pain from the toilet
painful but sometimes
can’t be avoided
we place ourselves
in an armored truck
heavily guarded
putting together
pieces to the puzzle
but can’t solve it
missing a piece or two
a few screws become loose
no bandaid for the bruise
everyday is battle
can’t put the navigation on cruise
these are the things that we go through
when we speak out loud
about hardships
we all encounter in different times
go through hard shit
our insides become harden
not to make excuses
just needing a pardon
looking at our flowers
in the garden
