No Music Video Shoot, Back to my Album [Blog-A-Day-May] #26

Today was a whirlwind of epic fails.  I am not going to front that I am a bit disappointed, but it happens.  Just got to work on a better next time.  So the music video never went through fully, I was solo outside.  When I shoot outside I like to be interactive with the surroundings.  But today there were flies and bugs out, or mostly at the location I had been shooting at.  I feel I am just going to warm up doing my videos indoor first then take them outside.  I did manage to capture some clips, but they weren’t all great via the bugs pitching on me messed up couple of the shots.  Another day, another chance is how I look at it.

Just kicking back and be merry and trying to get feedback on my new single “Last Chance”.  I had 2 friends said that they liked it.  But I want to hear more feedback.  Am I crazy on the songs, or so on.  Let’s see what happens.

Album Cover Design Day [Blog-A-Day-May] #6

Today I shall be working on the album cover art work and thinking of a theme to shoot for my album gallery for my comedy music album release.  The clock is ticking so I must get on my job.  I feel the last album cover was very colorful, and now I feel I should design something similar but simpler.  I am redoing my website in white, so I figured I can launch both at the same time and grant album cover to be in white as well.  It will be more as if the album is so explosive but you will never know based on the album cover.  So with that being said I am on the task of that today.

Oh yea, I know everyone is a bit upset the 1st single is still not live on the web to listen, but I recently just fixed the audio error, and it shall be arriving tomorrow on the all sites I have said it would be on.  I am going to make sure of it.  I want to see if I can add an image to go with the new single.  I would make more sense.

Update:  I am still working on a video idea for the single and the others, so I hope they will get shot and be entertaining when release date arrives.  Thanks for the patience.

Music and Life

I live life and then there is music.  I believe music and life goes together so well.  Some people create music from their life experiences and its one of the reason why music is so powerful, its because its real life.  The true form of music appeals to our lives in one way or another, whether is a sweet melody or thumping beat, or mom singing you a note to help you to go to sleep when you were a baby, music is a part of life.  Everyone’s life is not the same, we are people are not all the same but different in many ways, and so music.  What type of music do you enjoy?  I enjoy and mixture of R&B & Soul and Hip Hop and Dancehall music.  Seeing that I come from the islands, I have a strong roots into reggae and some folk songs.  But there are so many music to fit all the people in the world, and slowly we create new forms also.  No matter what is your favorite type, whether is R&B, Rap, Pop, Techno, Blues, Jazz, Dance, Rock, Classical, or what so ever, make music a part of your life and grab some headphones and listen.  Oh yea you can dance to it too.
