Somedays I wonder,
Where is it in the world I want to travel,
What other country or language,
Would I like to be able to dabble,
In time I want to see the world,
I do so already in my mind,
Or just as far as google maps can take me,
Whether by train, plane or ship,
I want to see the world,
I want to see everything.

It’s 8 years now, since I been on the chopping blocks blogging with WordPress. I have found myself within my writing, developed a style and elevated my skills. Happy 8th Anniversary, I am proud to say I don’t mind putting in another 8 years of work, for this is truly my passion, my craft and my career doing what I do here.
Here is a little poem to salute my 8 years.
I started out dropping statuses,
Finger smashing on the blackberry,
Trying to stay relevant,
Became a stone cold nemesis,
I can free verse and free write,
Anytime when I feel like,
I don’t have to put pen to a pad,
I ghost write for myself,
Late nights typing on my MAC.

Chatter box in the back of the class,
Becky on the side lines fixing her glass,
Is Arnold really smart,
Or his mom gave him a smart name,
Brainless he is putting things in his veins,
This is high school,
Where the cool kids come out,
James is the fly guy,
He got all the shorties now,
But there goes jixi,
Odd one in the corner with a pen and a pad,
A smirk on his face,
He just wrote the dopest line,
Millions in his mind,
He just did the math.

There is always trouble lurking,
Waiting for the crown,
They all will be hurting,
Wanting to attack the throne,
But I can’t hear their screams,
I don’t pick up the phone,
I will reign supreme,
Over any being,
I feel like letting off some steam,
Bury their hatred for me,
For them defeating me is only a dream.
