TOUCH ME

Posted on January 13, 2015January 14, 2015 by Jixi Fox

touch_me_like_rain_by_JordanRobin

I want to feel your warm embrace,
I want to rub my hands along your face,
I long to touch you,
And hold you tight,
No place I rather be,
Than beside you in bed late at night,
Whispering silly things,
Telling each other our fantasies,
Until the point of release,
You ease to sleep,
Shhhh…

HAPPY MEMORIES

Posted on January 12, 2015January 13, 2015 by Jixi Fox

happy_memories

It’s just the way I see you,
The sun beaming at me,
Good morning you say,
It sounds more like you screaming at me,
I hear you loud and clear,
You, I shall not forget,
I think of you every time,
My overwhelming miseries try to go over my head.

whisper

Listen to me,
I have words to share,
Open up your ears,
I got something for you to hear,
Do you care about today?
Where does your opinions lie?
I wish for your everything,
Think of your future, let go out your past.

TROPHY CASES

Posted on January 10, 2015January 10, 2015 by Jixi Fox

trophy case

Going through my trophy cases,
I see the fancy faces of people who have done great,
They ate good in the glory they created,
And I say to myself,
Where is my face?
I should be the idol that people raise when they accomplish great strides,
I should be the in that car in spirit when they go out for that ride,
The victory lap,
Honking your horn so the world can hear,
I want to be there,
I want to be the face in everyone’s trophy case.

THE COST OF LETTING GO

Posted on January 9, 2015January 9, 2015 by Jixi Fox

The_art_of_letting_go

The day I had to tell her good bye,
Is the day I almost died,
I cried endlessly,
Until the flow of tears ceased,
I feel to my knees,
Trying to get up,
But I can’t,
The pass is the pass,
Another cup filled,
Another cup drank,
Sorrow filled my everything,
Because she was just that,
So like leaves fallen from a tree,
I rake away the memories,
Setting them aside,
Filled in bags,
I lie there staring,
Doubting my decision,
But needing to shake my fear,
I pray for strength,
Letting her go, took everything.

LIVE TO EXIST

Posted on January 7, 2015January 7, 2015 by Jixi Fox

life-has-no-ctrl-z

By what means do we live?
Is it just to exist?
Or is life a bigger fish?
Needing of frying,
To not exist is dying,
Leaving the world a stray,
We fight to live,
We fight to see another day.

LIES YOU TOLD ME

Posted on January 6, 2015January 6, 2015 by Jixi Fox

lies you told me

You told me you was going to be there for me,
Complete let down,
You said you was going to save me when I am scared,
Complete let down,
You said you would never ever tell me a lie,
Complete let down,
Now I only wish is for you to just die,
Complete let down,
Could you even blame me?

BLACK ROSE TO MY FOES

Posted on January 5, 2015January 5, 2015 by Jixi Fox

Lovely-sad-black-rose-for-sadness

If you are my enemy,
You could be the end of me,
Danger always lurking in your presence,
I can’t seem to rid myself of your existence,
Until I handed you a black rose,
Your voice silences, body froze,
I couldn’t feather the burden I left the world without your presence,
But maybe I gained another chance at heaven in your absence.

MIXED SIGNALS

Posted on January 4, 2015January 4, 2015 by Jixi Fox

mixed signals poetry new york city relationships comedy

I seen this lady by the bus,
I say good morning, shucks,
She was looking quite fine,
I wonder what is on her mind,
Maybe she wants to win the lottery,
Or roll around in gold in a cave,
I wonder if she will say hello,
I wonder if she is brave,
She shrug me off and said not one word,
I was like dang that’s kind of impolite,
I guess this is the routine of these modern-day girls,
So I chilled with my music playing,
Until a mystery guy came and happen to snatched her bag,
She looked at me for help,
I looked at her and laughed,
I guess it’s just karma,
I saved myself from that drama, NEXT.
