Okay, What Di Mans Dem Say

Hey, I’m exploring my British flow, only the mans dem know for sure. lol 😂. Okay, honest tings. I am big fan of music and culture and I have always wanted to visit London. It’s not like a hard thing to accomplish, but I just want it to fit within my plans.

It’s like for me traveling is simple. Hop onto a site, pick a day, and a return, and pay a fee, and be there on time at the gate. I have even played with that thought to just book a flight to go somewhere for one day and return the next day. I know people have done that, but I am definitely an optimizer, so I want the best of my buck and experience, than doing something for say so.

Back to my original thought, lol. I went off on a tangent for a bit. Yea, so London may be the place to go. Definitely want to talk to more people online from there and create like some organic chats and see what happens next.

And of course, if no one ever been to New York City, I definitely have myself open for those chats as well.

Anyways, back in the lab to work on some music and poetry. I have plans on the way, but writing is my therapy and releasing my thoughts is vital each day.

Describe one of your favorite moments.

One of my favorite moments, is when I was at work. I was working in retail at the time. I can’t say the experience was the worse, I can say, I learned and evolved and I wanted to be there based on my goals for opportunities and flexibility. Shoot as I am writing this span to so many moments that happened at that workplace it’s too crazy.

My favorite moment in that environment was the joy of everyone’s face when they all got gifts in December from the management team. It was probably 2016 this memory as we were the best store in our district. It was like my first year really being a full on manager and in charge of decision making and people were actually listening.

I was pushing the team to the maximum, lots of jokes, fun, I knew everyone’s personality, I knew all their strengths and weaknesses. I put everyone in there best positions and took on all there worse positions. This is the year also I was promoted 3 times, but that team was legendary. I was happy for them getting gifts and awards as we never done it before, we didn’t talk about anything bad but the good. All the sales goals, the rush and busy weekends and holidays. The moments with the late night clean ups, and hot summers we needed to cool of and I was buying everyone waters to stay cool so they didn’t have to tap their pockets.

This was year of super highs. I even released a music project that same year.

All that to same. I always enjoy to celebrate my team and the people I work with. If we put in pain together, you will always be rewarded and we have a stronger connection that lasts a lifetime.

My Spanish Is Terrible 😞

Sometimes I have to laugh at myself, I am at work pumping out terrible Spanish. Every sentence is super broken, I know my co workers feel bad for me. I am trying to hold better conversations with them. I am learning though. I got the words down, it’s just my delivery then the response back after the delivery or what I am saying I am bad at.

I must say my team has been working with me and encouraging me to follow through and testing new ways for my sentences that feels more natural. I appreciate them a lot.

I just have to keep at it.

I working on being 40%-60% locked in on conversational Spanish this year and conversations in the workplace and other activities by the end of this year.

Progress in life and career can have its highs. More money, more respect, and a wealth of new experiences. To every joy or pain there is a sacrifice. We should create an escape or exit plan in case it’s doesn’t work. That is an important lesson of care of yourself. Like they say on the airplane, cover your face first with the mask before applying to someone else.

Reading The Room

Every day I step in,
I feel the energy,
I looked at the eyes,
Soon everyone was speaking,
I started listening,
I watch the things,
Their bodies was writing,
And analyze the notes,
Before I spoke,
And understood one thing,
Everything began syncing.

Everywhere you go, you should read the aura, the people, the energy to understand. It helps build on the value or correct the flaws of gaps. To avoid chaos, learn that reading the room and understanding will produce great benefits.
