I don’t walk on air, I grip the ground with my feet, I am grounded to the earth, People often has disbelief, Don’t mistake me for someone, Who you think is drowned out with sorrow, I am things to do, People to feed, today and tomorrow.
In my dreams, In my life, A nice surprise, Would be getting, To looking in your eyes, Not from a far, But up close, So is my nose, To a rose, The scent of you, Catches my breathe, I levitate, Into your arms, I shall stay, Always early to arrive, I am never late.
I know you fear those late nights. You want to sleep, but you also believe you can change your life. Do it. Put in that overtime on you. That investing in you, put in that overtime. The reward, will be rewarding.
From a far, Or near, I stare into the light, I fight for what’s right, I rise to what is high, And I bring it to the surface, And share it with whoever has hands, That’s the plan and I am sticking to it.
Trying to date, Can’t relate, Why so much hate, Why so much fear, Take it up a notch, We not a pair, But we care, Not to look bad to someone else, As you only want to show the good, A broken system, Let’s check under the hood, In deep fantasy to find a partner, One to walk down the alter, Am I ready though, Yet again let me watch another Netflix show, Or tv show about love, Blind dates, married at first sight, They know where are mind fades, Baiting us to try, And accept failures are sure to follow, But finding a diamond in the rough, If worth going out in the worse weather.
Something told me I was moving too fast, and it just seem like I was in a dull space. I waved back to Carey and told him I will be right back as I ran back inside to answer the phone. Go figure, oh yea, I forgot my cellphone, in which I needed either way.
I picked up the phone and it was my good friend Anthony. He sounded so excited as he said, “Hey Jixi”.
This is how the conversation went:
Anthony: Hey Jixi! Jixi: What’s up Ant
Anthony: Yo, did you do what I told you Jixi: Nah, I haven’t. It’s been a crazy week for me
Anthony: Dude!!! C’mon. Are you okay? Jixi: I am figuring it out, just a bunch of randomness is happening.
Anthony: Well dude, I think I have something that will spice up your day. Jixi: Oh yea, you think so.
Anthony: YES!!!! Jixi: Okay then.
Anthony: Meet me at the supermarket at 7pm Jixi: What? Wait? The supermarket.
Anthony: Yes, I will explain when I see you. Jixi: But why the supermarket?
Anthony: Dude you asking too much questions. Jixi: No I don’t
Anthony: Dude, get off my phone, I see you soon. Jixi: Hold up wait!!!
Anthony: Click (Anthony hanged up phone) Jixi: This doesn’t sound too great.
After the call, I went to grab a bottle of water from the refrigerator for my walk with the my pup. My water of choice is Smart water. I sometimes think if I drink enough of it, I may become smarter. What I wish right?
