MOTIVATION: DON’T LET IT WAIT, DON’T PROCRASTINATE

“But be late getting out the gate, don’t procrastinate”

In the era of hyper distractions, cell phones, will computer phones has caused the expansion we find ourselves lingering through the days, while things passes our way. We need to combat that.

We need to be focus and action based. I am not saying, shove a todo list up in my face, get the stuff out of here. I am talking about an action log, call your friend, tell them to hold you accountable. You got goals baby, you got goals.

So stop the waiting, hating and debating, and light a match under your behind, make some important moves, before you will have back that time.

SHOULD I DO A YEAR IN REVIEW POST? HMMM

I have been going back and forth if I should do a year in review series, and I couldn’t decide for a while. But I am pretty clear I need to. For me, writing is therapy and a way to document my actions, moments, success, failures, and more. I am not ashamed of my failures or lost motions in which a lot of those happen this year. But in the end I learned tremendously and evolved as a human being so much, I am thankful of the process.

So how my Year In Review typical goes. I have posts like, the best or top tv shows, music, wins, losses, best achievement, best investments, best moments, and like favorite photos of the year, and come up with like a quote of caption that sums up the year.

I helps open up conversation with others and share moment that meant a lot to me.

Let me know if you do a reflection of your year in life, and journal about it or jot down the good and bad. 🙂

WHO DO YOU ENVY?

The prompt of the day is, ENVY.

Let’s define envy real quick.

noun: a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or luck.
verb: desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable attribute belonging to (someone else).

In all actuality, I don’t envy anyone. I am very content in my development and growth at this period of time in my life. You can say I did envy others at some point. I wanted to build my followers on YouTube to be 50k or 100K, like a few creators I know. I didn’t want their but I did want my own. I guess you can say I aspire to reach those threshold of engagement and communication and audience.

For the most of my life, I have always try to avoid the work envy and envious. I have seen how it can hurt others. And I totally can understand why it’s an emotion we could feel. But I am so strong will I want to achieve more and more, and I don’t mind fighting for it.

I admire so much the work people put into growth, that I once I achieve something I always try to give back to others to reach whatever they want.

But for now I envy the future me. The me that hosts a few podcast episodes per month. The me that releases a new song or melody per month. The me that create creative designs for art, clothing and graphics every month while collaborating with others.

There is my envy, the future me. I want what he has, and I am going to get it. 🙂

WAKING UP, ALONE

Blanket empty,
Covers only covering me,
Body so cold,
No one is right beside me,
Pillow filled with thoughts,
Tears soaked in the fabric,
Missing someone to mind to,
Wishing someone was by me,
Tomorrow comes and go,
That happens too often,
Memories tends to grow,
But they seem all to familiar,
Deja vu of a lonesome soul,
Always a constant reminder,
Instagram pages I scroll through,
It’s almost like I am just watching previews.

Inside,
From missing you,
Can’t help the emotion,
Losing sanity,
Wanting to fight my way,
Back into your arms,
Even if it is to be hurt again,
I pen my love,
Certain,
Future and past tense,
I cry for you,
I miss you,
I can’t forget,
I don’t want to,
It is everything,
Not just the good,
But everything,
And how I felt,
Being with you,
….

Tear: pull or rip (something) apart or to pieces with force.

How do I start this off,
Always thinking,
Wonder what’s next to do,
Always winking,
Glancing at my dreams,
But reality,
Seems to have other plans for me,
Outside is baron,
Inside is captivity,
How the hell,
Can I expand my creativity,
I lay in the cut,
On the far side of the bed,
Body twist left,
Phone in hand,
On Instagram,
Wasting time,
Can’t move,
Want to try,
Telling myself I can’t loose,
But what if I died,
And never given,
Much less taken the chance,
I just don’t effin know,
Almost feeling,
Like it’s one of those days,
When things are just off,
But you want so hard for them to correct.
