As I cast my rod out,
My lonely heart,
Floats like oil,
Above water,
Then sinks to the bottom,
Hoping to wiggle in front of a few eyes,
That may be into trying something different,
Something apart from the norm,
That fill someone’s inside,
Like cavemen to caves,
Brave you think,
I am scared,
But to achieve happiness,
You might have to do something a little bit weird,
Like fishing,
As you are the bait,
In the open sea,
Or ocean,
So let’s rock the boat,
Hoping to get a bite with this new motion.
