Writing ✍️ From The Heart ❤️

Posted on April 24, 2020 by Jixi Fox

How do I start this off,
Always thinking,
Wonder what’s next to do,
Always winking,
Glancing at my dreams,
But reality,
Seems to have other plans for me,
Outside is baron,
Inside is captivity,
How the hell,
Can I expand my creativity,
I lay in the cut,
On the far side of the bed,
Body twist left,
Phone in hand,
On Instagram,
Wasting time,
Can’t move,
Want to try,
Telling myself I can’t loose,
But what if I died,
And never given,
Much less taken the chance,
I just don’t effin know,
Almost feeling,
Like it’s one of those days,
When things are just off,
But you want so hard for them to correct.

MIRROR

Posted on April 20, 2020 by Jixi Fox

What do you see?
When you look at me,
Am I everything,
You wanted me to be,
Your reflection,
Do you see me?
You,
Looking back,
At a shadow.

LEAKED THOUGHTS – EXHAUSTED

Posted on April 10, 2020April 10, 2020 by Jixi Fox

Read a short from a cool new blog I visited…that I wrote a short poem.
Check out the blog here -> https://inkytalons.wordpress.com/ INKYTALONS

Check out INKYTALONS‘s story EXHAUSTED

Written in ink,
Is my thoughts,
On pages,
Exhausted,
All my words,
Now fall,
Solid,
They don't move.

FEEL ME

Posted on April 9, 2020 by Jixi Fox

The touch,
The feel,
On me,
Free me,
I am here,
For you,
Waiting.

MAY I PLEASE HAVE CAKE?

Posted on April 8, 2020 by Jixi Fox

The taste I can’t address,
When eating the best,
Dressed,
Licking my lips,
Moist delights,
On my tongue,
I want it go,
I want it so much more,
To stay in my mouth,
Flavors bursting out,
I have waited for far to long,
C’mon,
I must have my cake,
And eat it too.

This poem is for all the sweets lover out there. Especially people throw in down in the kitchen, baking, cooking, mixing, and remixing ideas and making them special. Big Yum Yum To You. 🙂

IN THE WORLD OF FEAR

Posted on April 7, 2020 by Jixi Fox

In the world of fear,
Listen for the voice,
That cares,
The one who hears,
Before,
Fallen were your tears,
The voice that cheers you on,
The voice that cheers you up,
A joke,
A tidbit,
A taste of mint,
Delight,
Something you may,
Not know,
You needed,
A expression,
Or something,
That hits you just right.

Today we are in trying times. Just a dash of a smile can go a long way. I had to write this as I know and feel for the people going through a dark time or even light. Our mind sometimes race wondering who is still there with you. Are your friends or family thinking about you, or sending a call or text, or are they trapped too behind a fence? Too tense as the volume of the world cries are too dense, will there voice ever reach you?

Okay I know, I wrote that quite poetically, but it has all the essence of what I what to say and describe. 🙂

Leave a comment below, mention a name of a friend that you care for or cares about you that is there for you in these times… that one person that create a dash of sunlight to your day hearing from them.

MASK ON

Posted on April 7, 2020April 6, 2020 by Jixi Fox

part one / part two

Now it’s acceptable to walk in the bank with masks on,
Has the world spared me of felonies,
The future is going forward,
Everything else is passed on,
Who lies behind the cloth?
Is it you?
How long have you wanted to be hiding from the truth?
Being able to say empty the register
Use to get you in trub,
Now people closing accounts for toilet paper,
Saying that’s a dub,
Miss being in club throwing dollars,
Now at home now you got to be a father,
Who are you underneath the cloth?
Are you hard as you say?
Or you are charmin soft?
The world change,
People change,
People go insane,
If you can hold a photo of you in your pocket,
Could you still see yourself,
After the difficulties and pain?

I wrote the poem to enhance it’s changing times. Even though I chose a storyline to go with, the message is the same. Are the different person after things change around you? Were these things you held so dearly? When you look at life now, do you see the picture now more clearly?

I have always seen difficult times, so I had to adopt. But the memories of my past, will not be forgotten. Every moment crafted me into the human standing today, writing poetry and stories to help people open their eyes and minds to think. Be the self you always wanted to be…you are a story in progress, developed over time, until you have said what you wanted to be said, and get everything off your mind.

Leave a comment of a time you really wanted to change, but never had the opportunity and how you felt in those times.

MASK ON

Posted on April 6, 2020 by Jixi Fox

A pandemic happening outside,
Ain’t nothing strange,
News on tv not telling the facts,
People going derange,
It’s strange how it feels when we put on the mask,
It’s like your feeling dirty,
But you just stepped out the bath,
Do the math,
Peep the stats,
Tell me,
Where do both of them match?
Have you been handling your biz,
Looking after the kids,
Have you been handling your bills,
Instead of hunting for thrills,
Have you been yourself,
Or you are a created character,
Times are hard,
Each single moment in time now matters,
Enslaved to home,
There is no where to run,
Can’t be close with your family and friends,
So there is no more fun,
Now locked inside with a gun,
The fear is attacking you,
Should we load up the clips,
Time to bust open the banks,
There a few on my avenue.
