Been waiting,
A long time for a time out,
A refreshment,
Some sun to cover my bun,
And a drink in hand,
Frozen,
For I am ready,
Ready to create a moment.

I am a speed demon,
When I drive through,
You were in the lead,
Couldn’t see you from my side view,
Because now I am in the lead,
Which it’s key to me,
I am a fiend for the horse power,
I go way pass the recommended miles per hour.

Things matter,
But people matter more,
What we want,
Is not what we need as a core,
I snore when I think,
I dream really big,
To do more than,
What our parents ever did.

Clocking Out From Work
When I Clock Out After Work
Some days I am cool,
Other days I am not,
On the 9 to 5 grind,
To get to the top,
But that one annoying coworker,
Gonna make me blow my top,
Per my last email, the title,
You already know what’s happening,
When I punch the clock.

Like before,
She cheated,
With me though,
I was the side piece,
Not even the full meal,
I tried to shield myself,
From falling in love,
Now I loved the one I loved,
Without a glove,
Now I am a side piece, with extra sides.
