consistency opens every locked door | poem

compounding

the work needs to be done
and repeat
greet the feeling with glee
over time
locked doors
open with a key
you + effect

never closing my eyes again so i don’t miss you | poem

Posted on June 15, 2026June 25, 2026 by Jixi Fox

fear missing you

losing you
i could never forgive
all things considered
imagine everything we did
i close my eyes
emptiness is what i was seen
i am never closing eyes again
so i will not miss the shooting star
and universe far in between

loving someone without a script | poem

Posted on June 14, 2026June 25, 2026 by Jixi Fox

unrehearsed

didn’t know how to tell you
didn’t know how to let go
i never knew that you were that special
i wish someone would have let me know
that my heart will feel a tremble
when i decided to head back home
for i am now lost
i never show up
to read the script

when love costs more than you can afford | poem

Posted on June 13, 2026June 25, 2026 by Jixi Fox

price tag

can you accord the drama
the faults, the trauma,
that comes with picking me up
if not put me down
dog pound
i am running for shelter
too many times
you are too rich for my blood
having a expensive taste
will leave you with dub

Posted on June 10, 2026June 25, 2026 by Jixi Fox

memories faded

since you left
i felt missed a part of me
then came more life experiences
truly you were not a part of me
