There are things we love to do and hate to do, it’s just human nature. For me, I know my best and optimal time to do things. After years or working multiple jobs, career paths, and everyday life, I came up with 3 things I love to do during the week.
- I love working on weekdays.
I extremely dislike working weekends, for it’s the most chill time to go out and wake up whenever you feel like it. I do prefer a 4-day workweek, so I always aim for that. I like working as well, via I am contributing to the economy and providing services to others who need the work I am providing. I do my work with pride and purpose. Unless I have a terrible boss or client, and it’s all downhill from there. 🙂 - There ain’t nothing crazy going on in the weekday.
Ain’t nothing really popping in the world, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., except for maybe happy hour, if you’re going to a conference, traveling, or maybe an exhibit. So I rather work those hours and enjoy the perks after work. Now, for sure, we do have doctor’s appointments, car checkups, dropping off kids to school, and housework, but come on, how exciting are those on a scale from 1 to 10? - I like a schedule.
Most things in life we try to squeeze in and do, but if I can work each week, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., like wow, I have 3 days to myself, and fun, and family, and after work gym sessions, and happy hours, and taking the kids out to play, and sunsets, and road trips, and vacations, and movie nights. It’s like the most wonderful balance. If I needed those extra odd days, I would use a vacation or sick day. I am so pro this schedule and it would make me more happier and deliver better results are work.
What are your thoughts?
