Just Another Day in The Life [Blog-A-Day-May] #17

Today is just another day in the life of Jixi. A hectic day on the business end trying to find new outlets to post album and music series when launch time for the album and new Jixifox.com to arrive. The days are counting down. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it but I am up to day 17, wow, I would of never thought I would of made it so far, but surely I am kicking some butt.

Thanks to anyone that is along for the ride within May as I work on my new music and prep for the album release on May 31, 2011. Let’s go, let’s stay positive, let’s make people laugh while on some auto tune.

The Simple One

Girls be yapping bout the older the better,
While I stay young and keep they body more wetter,
Don’t get me wrong cuz I am mature,
Tell me all your problems and I will find the cure,
I will be your Romeo and you my Juliet,
We can drive in my corvette til the sunset,
But yet, I tell you baby girl don’t you dare fret,
Life will be grand leaving you with no regrets,
All we need to do is love and trust,
If we were both pies then that’s just the crust,
Girl why are you so shy I’ll sing you a lullaby,
Which will sooth your mind if you ever start to cry?
Things that are easy sometimes become hard,
So I understand why you had put up your guards,
While we look at the stars that are so far,
No one can tell me you are not the one, because you just are, The Simple One

I am Jixi, and I bust a groove in Auto Tune once in a while, then I compile the MADNESS into an album and share it with the world.  You would think I am crazy if you heard the comedic album of mixed raps and singing.  But I would tell you it’s straight GENIUS.  Please believe the uber-epic habits of myself is just an extension of my creativity and looney-ness when not confined by rules, limits and what people have to say about me.  So are you ready for some Auto Tunes?  Well if you are, take a listen to “I’m A Problem” via ReverbNation and “When I Met Her In The Club” the singles off my 1st installment of “Jixi Fox Presents The Adventures of Auto Tune” which I released in 2010.

I am quite open-minded in many respects, and I try to get more open to the world and how to appreciate it.  It’s has always been a quest of mines to be multi-diverse in concept of knowledge, culture and being creative.  I feel I can’t be a great person with only limited thoughts and interpretation of the world and the things that are involved in its constant rotation.  It’s not like I am just trying to go deep in being better than others, but more of going deep in understanding.  The more you know, the better you can understand.  That’s why knowledge is a key element of life, but not only knowledge, but experience is just as important.  So open up your mind, open up your possibilities and expand your creativity.

My goal of 2011 via my blog is to reach 50,000 views total.  I am currently sitting on 26,000 so far, so another 24,000 views is my target.  I feel I can reach for the sky and say 75,000 views which is reachable, but I am going to just say 50,000.  (In my own mind, I if I reach to 50,000 then that’s great, but being competitive with myself I am gunning for 75,000.) Do you think I can make it?  Well I am going to have to earn every single view I get.  So it’s just quality, great content and fun things for the world to enjoy is what I will be producing…So Jixi Fox, your goal for your blog this year is:

50,000 views total by the end of Dec. 2011

Sometimes I feel I am a mystery to myself.  There are so many things left to uncover and explore about me, even though sometimes I think I have found them all, but I am just a mystery.  The things I uncover excites me about myself and I push harder and harder to see what more I can shell out of closed hard-core of potentials I have.  I have quite a feast of challenges and goals to accomplish and some I will soon come to figure out I actually want.  I still get comments from friends and associates, that there is just something about me they can put their finger on and actually stick around to see what might be found.  I guess I am not the only one that wants to see where I will go.

J. Cole debut Album in 2011

J. Cole debut album I would have to say is one of the only new artist album I am ready to buy.  J. Cole is such a great artist and no matter how people think it might come out, I am definitely getting it.  It would be like a thanks for the free mixtape albums he dropped such a, The Come Up, The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights.  I even think his debut album might even be called Cole World or A Cole World.  I am happy to have got to listen to such a great artist such as him, as him and Fabolous whom is working on his new mixtape album The S.O.U.L Tape are two awesome artists that helped rock the music world for me in 2010.  I can’t wait for both artist new albums, but more overly, since J. Cole is a new artist and I already got all of Fabolous’s albums, J. Cole is the definitely and number album I am buying this year, hands down.

I want to do something cool this year

I hate to be a bore and I try to entertain myself to the fullest as much as possible.  I am seeking something cool to do this year.  Nothing is popping up on my cool radar.  Of course it has to be something new and super fun, but what could it be though.  Living in New York comes with a lot of perks and options, some better than others, while some are just super lame and played out.  I wonder if anyone in the blog-o-sphere who might read this have an idea on something cool to do this year.  Let’s see if I can brainstorm a list of things I might find cool to do…

Here my quick off the top of the head list:

1. Go to shooting range and shoot a gun for the 1st time.
2. Test drive a Porsche, on the streets or even just in a parking lot.
3. Dress up like a ninja and perform a cool ninja move. (whatever that may be)
4. Meet Diddy, Ludacris, Linkin Park or Usher.  (You can’t beat that)

Well that was my quick list.  But the chances of those happening are very slim, except maybe the shooting range…well let’s see what might happen done the line of the year.
