Late At Night In Bed Missing You | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

Where have you been bae?
I rather hug you much more,
Than hugging pillow.

I will always wait for you at night. Get home soon; Netflix is on; let’s chill. 🙂

I Love Your Sense of Humor | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

You crack me up lots,
Your sense of humor is so,
Simply off the map.

I love laughing with you. The joy I feel is off the charts.

Flew Around The World To Love You | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

Hopped upon a jet,
To get to you much faster,
Love can’t wait longer.

Long distance is just not working out anymore. I must be closer to you.

God Told Me To Love You | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

I told you I won’t,
Love you just because of you,
I did it for God.

God spoke to me, pointed me your way, and told me it’s okay to love. He gave me the strength to love you.

If It Was Meant To Last | Love

Posted on February 11, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Feeding the need to be right, we recite and write tales to feel alright. Every bite deeper into the uncouthly world that we created makes it harder to return to the surface. We are too deep into the core.

Was it meant to be before we lied?

Or does it survive because of the lie?

The Essence of You Makes Me Smile | Free Verse Poetry | Stories

Posted on February 7, 2025February 7, 2025 by Jixi Fox

She has a nice voice; I just can’t resist. I think get her out of my mind, especially her lips. I could dip and dive, but she is sorta of shy, I am the guy to get her to where she wants to, without her asking why.

FREE VERSE POETRY

Her essence has me wide open,
With every word that was spoken,
Wanting to be inside real bad,
She told me I needed a token,
Only the one she can give,
A special token that makes a heart, filled,
Ready to accept a thrill,
But still knows how to be delicate,
Even the sweet melody of her laugh,
Makes missing a day feel like a year lost,
Appreciating every moment,
Every special occasion,
I must press pause,
And cherish time,
Frozen looking at her.

Can’t Run Away Fast Enough | Spoken Word Poetry

Posted on February 6, 2025February 7, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Aiming high,
Never catching the lows,
Moving fast,
But breathing slow,
I let go,
I run and chase,
But there is no base,
Feet heavy,
It’s hard to get away.

Key Only I Had The Key | Haiku

Posted on February 5, 2025February 5, 2025 by Jixi Fox

If I had the key,
Would the locked door call for me?
Or stay silent still?
