FREE VERSE FRIDAY

They said I was the chosen one,
To spit bars,
I left the planet for a while,
Got involved in a Star Wars,
I was comfortable and living,
Then all of a sudden I was sent on a mission,
Didn’t have to talent to win,
Didn’t let me non-talents win,
Never did I give in,
I had an entire planet under my chin,
They wasn’t near my eye sight,
I had to look down,
I saw I was the king,
I proudly wore my crown,
Now I roll around,
Town after town,
Looking to fight,
Ready to make things right,
The force has awaken,
In my down time it was steadily baking,
In an oven,
Until I blew out the glass,
Almost fell on my ass,
I went straight in a clash,
To make my name known,
No clones,
The real deal,
On top of everything I stayed,
My rightful home.

Working a 9 to 5,
Trying to survive,
Wishing I can afford life,
Feeling very deprived,
I wish I could ride,
Out to the city,
And chill,
Pockets empty,
Because there is nothing within,
I try to skim for some change,
But it’s a pain,
Going insane,
Work hard for nothing,
Feeling like a slave,
Trapped in a life style,
That’s always on the decline,
Bills always on rotation,
Keeping me from being free,
Like probation.

Elements,
Stripped,
Into small particles,
Is everything,
Feelings,
Love,
It’s crazy,
Some days lazy,
Wavy,
Stormy,
Never deemed boring,
I have a story to tell,
The cards got dealt,
Changed me,
It’s wild,
Abrasively amazing.

I am always shooting for the stars,
With my bars,
Hoping one day they will go far,
But everyday is a good day,
I just want to play,
For it’s like exercise,
While I am on the runway,
I am flexing,
Ain’t no one specific I am trying to impress,
I just want to show off to the world,
That I am the best,
So test my faith,
Or my beliefs,
I am in this until forever,
Please believe it,
Believe it please.

FREE VERSE FRIDAY

Can’t hack it,
Had to stack it,
Tried to crack it,
But bricked it,
Had to rip it,
Flipped it and then dipped out,
Couldn’t be cool with the lames,
Are you insane?
I trained my brain to take over everything,
My hotline be blinging,
So does my pinky ring,
So when they singing in a chorus,
I unplugged the cord to  hear someone’s hoarse,
I poured out liquor for this one,
I need something sweeter to sip on,
Chip shot my own bars,
Like a home run it went far,
They went over your head,
Straight to the moon,
I will see you later,
Or maybe tomorrow afternoon.

Hold up I am back at it,
Took out the hatchet,
Couldn’t match it,
Had to snatch it,
I am too fast ahead,
I had to lap it,
I snapped back to reality,
So protected I had myself padded,
So I dropped these bars,
Upset chick keys cars,
Please ma,
Don’t do that,
It’s just life,
We all go through it,
Sometimes. 🙂

Why should I say sorry,
Am I bored,
Can’t afford your woes,
To help you realize,
You are just a child,
Trapped,
Needing an awakening,
Wise up,
Better yet,
Get tough,
All I got for you is love,
It may be harder than what everyone is giving,
But aren’t you trying to be harder tomorrow,
If you going to cry today?
So listen to these words,
Be yourself,
Take time out to let yourself go,
Come back another day,
Humble,
Ready to go harder in life,
Peaceful.
