I would melt hearts on paper,
In my most poetic voice,
Lines and lines of love and romance will suck you in,
You can’t escape my kinship of wordplay,
Slowly you read and decode my philosophy,
As my lifestyle reflects simply another being,
High on words and expressive in each verse,
I put you up on the game we call life,
With ounces of real to deal with and evolve,
We ball out on our accomplishments,
We overcome,
We trailblazing into a new sphere,
No one rules to adhere by,
Just free will,
Life is poetry,
Write your life words so it may exist.

Poetry is life…I would say if I were poetry I would want to contribute to the world within the style of real life events, comedy and romance.  I love to relate with others and also bring a light on important topics and share in conversation of emotions and philosophy.  Poetry is love, art, fun and happiness.  Write your life today…

It’s like another birthday,
Another celebration,
A new happiness,
Another anniversary of art, poetry and comedy.

Happy “7 Year” Anniversary here on my blog.  It’s very hard to start something so long ago and still going.  I want to just say I am blessed to still be able to create, interact and connect with people every day, every year around the world.  Thank you all for your support and appreciation for what I have created here.  After 7 years in the game, it’s only fair to say, it’s time to be “On To The Next One“…Watch out for Jixi.

CONGRATS ON MY 1,000th POST [Milestone] #Poetry #Haiku

Congrats on “1,000 Posts”

From day one I saw the mountain,
I dreamed of climbing it,
I place my feet forward,
And prepped my hands for a long climb up,
And off I went bravely into the night,
Day after day,
And created a catalog of memories,
What more can I say,
But I have tried and will keep on climbing…

I am happy to announce that I just reached my 1,000th post here on www.jixifox.me.  It’s a very exciting time for me and I just want to celebrate this achievement with you all.  It’s a proud moment to see that I have come this far and still felt like I just only started expressing myself, writing poems and comedy to entertain people across the world daily.  It’s an honor to have still be writing and reading comments from everyone who enjoy’s what I (Jixi Fox) has been putting my long nights and creativity into.

Thank you all, and I hope to see you all on another 1,000 post when we get there…

As I write this post, I want to show that it’s possible for you to make it anywhere you dreamt on reaching, by just starting and believing.  Once you have started your journey you can always look back and see the distance you have travel and be impressed.  I also want to take this time to reach out to anyone who just need someone to believe in them and may have tips to help them succeed in writing and living your life the way to like and share what’s on your mind.

IF I WERE “A STAR”

IF I WERE…A STAR

I would be a shooting star,
A special beam of light,
Only appearing in special moments,
Or moments I am called upon,
To shed some light on someone’s life,
Be a breather of fresh air to breathe in,
I would be who they look up to,
For I may just be the closest thing to heaven,
In no way would I play GOD,
But I would just be someone,
If they needed could lean upon.

I always wanted to see a shooting star, but I don’t look up in the sky that much.  Plus is usually rare to see them anyway.  I remember walking with my mom and we saw one fly by the in the sky, and she told me to wish for something for it is supposed to be lucky to wish for something.  But sadly I don’t remember the wish or the actually year of birth I was that I did see one, so I just rule it out and not seeing one.  At this point of my life and for many years I have always been this bright light of wishes for others more than for myself.  I tend to make dreams comes through and bring smiles and possibilities to others life, in which I am very proud of day after day is why I happy to be a shooting star.

I would be very much the same,
Nothing much would change,
I think life would be strange,
Turn to another page,
And you will be there,
Taking away my air,
Am I looking in the mirror,
Would you be 10 and I be zero,
No need to copy you,
You are simple the original.

IF I WERE “A DRAGON”

IF I WERE…A DRAGON

Dragon Fireball Attack

I take flight with fury,
All I spit is flames,
I am mystical yes a creature,
They talk about me everyday,
Tattooed all over people’s body,
If I took your goat I am sorry,
I am just that awesome in the world,
I am only letting you know if you haven’t heard,
My wings when flapped blows houses away,
Only approach me with a sword if you are brave,
We can always do battle but trust me I am going to win,
At the end of the war only my voice you shall hear so let’s sing.

If I were a dragon, I would probably be one that’s just reckless and silly.  I would swoop down and stashed someone up and just take them on a trip.  I wouldn’t be like a violence type, but more the one would surprise you.  I would fly high, fast and do cool tricks in sky and just travel to different places in the world and be cool.

IF I WERE “LOVE”

IF I WERE…LOVE

Love-Fire

I would love you,
Unconditional as a matter of fact,
I would rub you back,
And help you get up when you have fallen,
I would be your believer,
Even after you have given up,
But I won’t ever leave you,
I am the person dreaming of you,
I am the person missing you,
I am a part of you  and with you we shall be whole,
Love for me is forgiving,
Love for me is imperfect,
For every time I got it wrong,
I will be there every time to make it right.

If I were love, I would a proud love, not scared to yell it to anyone, or fear what someone else would say.  I love my mother, brother, friends, stranger, and more.  I love to love other’s and make sure they know someone cares, so I will be that love and continue to be that love even when love is gone.

IF I WERE ” A SHOE”

IF I WERE… A SHOE

mens shoes

My sole would be big,
And shall be my print,
For every step in my movement,
I have to embrace my comfort zone,
But at a drop of a dime,
I can sprint as fast as possible,
To make it to the tip of the edge,
And catch myself from falling,
As the eyes pour on into my soul,
I shall stand strong,
Feeling ease, that I am presentable,
Intellectual and life is simply a breeze.

If I were a shoe I would be a mixture between casual and sporty.  I like having my shoes be comfortable as well as flashy and smooth looking.  I need something I can wear to a lounge and be dressy but really fun to be in that I can go running in it and jump on park benches and be playing in.  My shoes got to be something, that if the train or bus is coming and I am 2 blocks away and got a short amount of time to reach, I can run off-road and on and make it just in time to be on time and not feel like I put in any effort to make such a stride.

IF I WERE… A LOLLIPOP

big lollipop

I wonder how people would lick or suck me,
I know it may sound a tad bit drastic,
But after getting to my core I stretch out like elastic,
So I you put me in your mouth and twirl around,
Just remember to brush so I am cavity, I cause decay.

If I were a lollipop I would be mango flavor with a dash of passion fruit.  Just a sweet blend of orange and green.  I would be like the cheat sweet people crave or have to go to a special place to get me and not fully available at any store.  You are going to have to search for me for my secret taste. 🙂
