Life is sharp, and the cuts are deep. Handcraft in Imperfection is a poem about how life doesn’t need to be perfect to live it. We wait too long at times to express ourselves; we pose beside truths we don’t believe. We don’t need permission to change; we can just do it.

i lost you in the flow
you were moving too slow
i enhanced the glow
hoping you would be shining in
how long until perfect
leaving it longer in the oven to bake
i took the right amount of time
and effort
i love what i have created

Constantly running the race in the attempt to achieve a medal, is no way to live. Especially, when the journey, the people, the lessons means so much more to the goals. Merits, unlocks the feeling of wanting more, and having to let faith and fate decide, as you are there on the ride.

thought we un-bonding
no love
but since then faith
change my fate
feeling like i have the merits
to now make it today
even through the unjust exists

Some absences don’t arrive as we want them; they arrive as pure lessons. withholdings explores the tension between hunger and awakening, between being denied direction and learning to walk without it. We find ways to break in to where we need to be and break out to save ourselves.

withholding
unholy and bold
so unknown
not thrown
not cold
but heated over throne
not held
simply unfed
had to beg
until i was undead
living my life
even though
withholdings
i was un-led
finding my own diamond
until i was on bed
resting my eyes
imagining what god would have said

Sat down,
And requested silence from the world,
The earth has been moving under feet,
Just prompting you to work,
You just need a breather,
Maybe a misdemeanor,
Compared to the felonies in your day,
A warm meal and some tv,
But still you can’t have your way.

Trigger Warning | Poem | Free Verse

Warning! I am about to say something really uncomfortable.

If I let one off,
Am I wrong?
Causing people,
To sing songs,
Is free speech really free,
Comes at a cost,
Like a boss,
Continuing life,
We can’t pause,
Because life,
Will go on,
After the first second,
Then the next minute,
I hope you get it,
You can’t comment on life,
The world take a life,
Are we barred?
Can we let loose,
Can we make moves,
Where can we even go?
It’s only fleeing leaving the scene,
Without creating change,
Turning a new page,
It seems going ghost,
Is a trigger warning,
Leaving soon,
I just may not come back.

*Words hold so much power, but we are not free to use them, as others abuse them.

Rosey cheeks,
In a position so unique,
Big spoon to your little,
How sweet,
A leaned in to kiss,
Who said fantasies,
Don’t exist,
Must have never had,
A peaceful night,
With someone as precious,
A love,
A comfort felt,
A secure place,
Just to lay your head,
Feeling safe.

Broken down in some many pieces,
Cleaning was too much,
I regret being too open,
I gave up too much,
Now I am exposed,
And I am out,
Even though,
I wanted to be in,
No longer can I crawl into my shell,
I am outside it’s hot as hell,
Whoever said it couldn’t be this bad
Never experienced the day I had,
I am so broken.

I couldn’t see you,
I lied,
I saw you clearly,
I cried,
I knew it wasn’t tight,

I have the juice,
