as an expression
nothing happening
laid there
wasting time
planting mines
troubling times
no mountains climbed
just laid there
waste man
yes
direct shot
don’t second guess
literally just laid there
doing nothing
so nothing got done
but we mad though
super mad
as you watched them
as they laid there

finding the light within to let go | poem

slowly deleting distractions

held beyond my means
stranded
i strained my pad
with my pain
every drop of blood
and tear drops
filled in my mood
i thought i exposed myself
i wore nude
moments expressed
are deeper than the skin
within is where i found the light
to let go
of what held me
turn off
dim them
as they go dark

unpacking passions
i thought i had a loaded gun
trying hard with my expressions
i held them in for far too long
second-guessing love and work
the world want me to choose
now i’m the source of safety
for others
who really needed a boost
who gonna help me
when I do get there
standing on the championship stage
who gonna tell me
i beleived in you
but they never called to check in
every word was a weapon
they head hunting for cash
my cutoff game been ill
super sickly in the past
but today
i feel i am on a broken path
increasingly proceeding
to reverse my ambitions
to older dates
navigating priorities
my sanity
was better had
how do i save me
no one has a helping hand
