Trigger Warning | Poem | Free Verse

Warning! I am about to say something really uncomfortable.

If I let one off,
Am I wrong?
Causing people,
To sing songs,
Is free speech really free,
Comes at a cost,
Like a boss,
Continuing life,
We can’t pause,
Because life,
Will go on,
After the first second,
Then the next minute,
I hope you get it,
You can’t comment on life,
The world take a life,
Are we barred?
Can we let loose,
Can we make moves,
Where can we even go?
It’s only fleeing leaving the scene,
Without creating change,
Turning a new page,
It seems going ghost,
Is a trigger warning,
Leaving soon,
I just may not come back.

*Words hold so much power, but we are not free to use them, as others abuse them.

Too many days hot,

longing for silence to breathe,

found calm in the cool.

*I had a tough day today, but I really had to be cool. I spend the day staying in a cooler mode to not run hot.

The Biggest Week Ever #LifeUpdate

So much dropping this week, and I need to be ready. There is a big event I am looking forward to, and some creative works. I have been really good lately, some very tough decisions, and catching up with family and friends. I am caring person so I tend to look out and call people, but when they don’t respond, I just got to move on.

So far in the Vault as I have restarted my unreleased works catalog. We have 4 poems and 1 short story completed and sitting down. It’s so seated, I gave it a🪑 of its own lol.

I working on some offline business plans to take over my local area and work with new content makers and it takes a bit of planning. I am happy to still dropping my WTF series aka (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) which are haiku, spoken word and free verse. Season two is a more soft release but in case you missed them, you can see them on the side panel.

Either way, that’s all I got at the moment and the rest I am releasing with be dropping this week, and I am excited. It will be a lonely journey but overtime it will blossom.

Reunited

Today was a lovely day, a bit of rest and workout. Even though I went to workout late, it’s still counts. Today I got to reunited with a friend I haven’t seen in over 5 years. It’s crazy how this much time has passed. Life definitely has changed for both of us.

Our bond was so tight that it was even hard to order our food, as we were so deep in our conversation to catch up. So much the waitress who was trying to serve us had to come back 3 times.

I can definitely say it felts more like connecting with a family member how it was a great moment.

I am so happy to had experienced this movement. It was a great ending to August.

I think I need to share more stories and moments in my life on the weekends. I don’t think it should be all passion, creativity, it can also be people. I need to connect more back with people.

Lately It’s Been #micropoem

Lately it’s been,

Me alone,

Writing my future on loose pages,

Lacking sleep for days and days,

Chasing me,

The next me,

After me.

*note: Have you ever just got lost for a few days? Trying to pick apart and bring together things you having figured out yet. Like the future is tomorrow but you in the 1900th. The brainstorm days adds life and a life line to what is to come. Don’t skip the step that actually enhance your story.

To lead the way,
I had to break norms,
Kick in doors,
And then found more doors,
I didn’t like what I was seeing,
Transformed,
You didn’t call me,
I wasn’t waiting,
I am pretty sure,
Each day I believe,
I am on my knees,
Praying,
Almighty,
For air to breathe,
To carry me to higher lengths,
To deliver a present,
To the world,
My gift,
My everything,
I believe much more than ever.

Deleting You, For Me #spokenword #poem

You ask me to show you,
So I did,
You ask me to turn around,
So I can spin,
My smile to make you feel better,
I only remember cloudy days,
When I couldn’t predict the weather,
You showed me things,
I found hard to decode,
I think about them everyday,
Mostly when I am alone,
I am caught in your web,
Holding tight on my body,
I can not breathe,
I tried running away,
But you took my knees,
So I can’t bend corners,
I can’t jumped fences,
You keep being my present and future,
Instead of past tenses,
Lost are my thoughts,
As I struggle in the weeds,
I have to make a change today,
So I am deleting you, for me.
