Drowning in sorrow,
Waiting for tomorrow,
To come,
The pain,
Makes me go hard,
A lot of obstacles,
To overcome,
Bummed out,
I got no real friends,
No more parties in LA
Or NYC,
I still at home and play,
My album,
These beats,
Jotting down,
My life story,
Waiting for the day,
I am allowed to speak.

The nemesis,

The weekend can’t come fast enough,
Life is rough,
I am dying for a break,
But money still needs to be made,
Life is tough,
I want to drown my woes in liquor,
Spill the beans,
Like a soap opera episode,
I have dramatic plots and schemes,
My look is mean,
Don’t you say nothing to me boy,
If you try to send shades at me,
Oh no that will miss me,
Straight out-of-bounds,
I just want to forget,
Leave the past week behind,
I am falling asleep,
Drank too much,
I can’t stay up,
Man down.

Before I die,
I want to know I tried,
Tried to live,
Read off my goals like a bucket list,
Not trying to miss one,
For not missing one is on the list,
Before I die,
I want to know I believed,
Believing in me and my will to overcome,
Never doubting my route,
Knowing there will be cuts and bruises,
Handy with my med kit,
I will patch up myself on the go,
Rarely falling on my face,
Working to perfect my landing,
Before I die,
I want to cry in joy,
Oh boy,
Happiness is no toy,
So don’t mess with it,
I want to change a space for the better,
Slowly if not quickly,
But damn sure don’t ever say never,
To complete me,
I would have tried, failed and won,
That’s a cycle to repeat on everything,
Until my clock no longer continues to tic,
My legacy will stand,
Longer than I did.

Chilling, calm,
Give me a break,
Hidden subliminals,
Inside of every cake,
Lake outside,
Needs to be dived in,
Baby in it’s carriage,
Pick it up it’s crying,
No whining today,
I am happy,
Chocolate turns me on,
Give me a book to read,
I am inside from the storm,
I just need a break,
From the world,
So here I sit in peace,
I had me a kit kat in hand,
So I broke me off a piece.
