With my eyes wide open, I can still breathe,
With my eyes wide open, I can still see,
With my eyes wide open, I can still feel,
That the person I am is real and is still me,
Never should my eyes shutter closes,
Or utter disbelieves or I can’t to my woes,
For I shall strive and defeat obstacles that stands before me,
Because I can see them with both eyes wide,
Never leaving me sight even when I put them behind me,
So I shall never forget or be snuck upon by my past,
For I am going forward and leave my past last,
Left in my trail I am blazing pass,
I want to open other’s eyes, and leave them open wide,
For we can’t see what is ahead of us without our wide open eyes. (Don’t Blink)
