Oh My God I haven’t finished the album yet. I so hope this don’t come to kick me in the ass. I am so going to have to finish it by 5/30 so I can prep them or all my sites and newly created ones. I feel good about the album and its development.

I am so excited to get this project done and move unto my next months project and then onto my debut actual hip hop album, but its very tough to let go of the fact that I want to move on but I have to complete this project on time. Its a very tough cookie.

Well let’s put this all on faith and see what happens.

My goal, Finish Album Today [Blog-A-Day-May] #27

I am setting myself up to fall flat on my face. I need to complete this auto tune album asap. I mean like yesterday. I can’t risk to lose out and not have a finish copy of this album. A early release party needs to be put together. I feel a ustream release on the 30th would be awesome.

I should gather couple choice friends and have a mini album release party, beer and chips on me. I might have to really put this together. Let’s bawse swag this.

No Music Video Shoot, Back to my Album [Blog-A-Day-May] #26

Today was a whirlwind of epic fails.  I am not going to front that I am a bit disappointed, but it happens.  Just got to work on a better next time.  So the music video never went through fully, I was solo outside.  When I shoot outside I like to be interactive with the surroundings.  But today there were flies and bugs out, or mostly at the location I had been shooting at.  I feel I am just going to warm up doing my videos indoor first then take them outside.  I did manage to capture some clips, but they weren’t all great via the bugs pitching on me messed up couple of the shots.  Another day, another chance is how I look at it.

If you are not going to pop off then sit your butt down.  Don’t come to a gun fight not ready to shoot.  Well I less than 10 days to finish the album or I would have been consider shooting with no ammo.  Within one month though I felt I needed more time to prepare, market and execute a better response for my album, it seem to have come along pretty decent.  I really putting in the efforts of an artist and rising to the occasion of giving the world a good dose of creativity.

J Cole debut single [Blog-A-Day-May] #19

I am so excited to hear J Cole is finally ready to drop his 1st single for his debut album for 2011.  I just can’t wait.  I also can’t wait for my new single hit the airwaves on 5.21.11 which is titled “Don’t Judge Me”.  It’s like a pop song, and quite cool to hear.  It’s more clear than 1st single “Last Chance”, but they are just crazy and fun both the same.  I wonder if I can shoot 2 J Cole videos of my doing like spoof or un-official music video for 2 of his song before his single drops…If I could do that, then that would be awesome.  Well I am going to call up my people and try to get something in motion and make it happen.

Today is just another day in the life of Jixi. A hectic day on the business end trying to find new outlets to post album and music series when launch time for the album and new Jixifox.com to arrive. The days are counting down. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it but I am up to day 17, wow, I would of never thought I would of made it so far, but surely I am kicking some butt.

Thanks to anyone that is along for the ride within May as I work on my new music and prep for the album release on May 31, 2011. Let’s go, let’s stay positive, let’s make people laugh while on some auto tune.
