Launch Day, New Music – [Blog-A-Day-May] #11

Ok, I am totally on point today.  I have changed couple factors about my releases as I been feeling uneasy about them for a while and just today figured out why.  For my TAOAT2 project I wanted to have longer songs, and more meaningful titles, but at the same time I wanted something fun you can dance to.  I feel I achieved that with this projects with these two songs, “Imma Bout To Crunch” and “Hands Up and Dance” in which, I have now deemed my creative fun singles releases, but not the official single releases.  “Last Chance” is my 1st official single release, followed by two others to make 3 singles in total which pretty much I find very meaningful to me in some way and the creative improvisation I added to them.

So as promised here are my 3 songs I promised you, “Imma Bout To Crunch” and “Hands Up and Dance“, with the official 1st single “Last Chance” all performed by Jixi B.

Pre Release Music Day [Blog-A-Day-May] #10

Today is the day to prep my new music to be released. I am excited and bit worried. I want my songs to be well received but you can’t control what others will think. I just know I love my new songs, and it makes me smile to know I got them done, and that they are not perfect and I got so much more to learn.

I know I am releasing two definite songs, but not sure the what the 3rd song should be. The tracks are, “Imma Bout To Crunch” and “Last Chance“.  The 3rd should be “Hands Up and Dance”

Album Cover Design Day [Blog-A-Day-May] #6

Today I shall be working on the album cover art work and thinking of a theme to shoot for my album gallery for my comedy music album release.  The clock is ticking so I must get on my job.  I feel the last album cover was very colorful, and now I feel I should design something similar but simpler.  I am redoing my website in white, so I figured I can launch both at the same time and grant album cover to be in white as well.  It will be more as if the album is so explosive but you will never know based on the album cover.  So with that being said I am on the task of that today.

Oh yea, I know everyone is a bit upset the 1st single is still not live on the web to listen, but I recently just fixed the audio error, and it shall be arriving tomorrow on the all sites I have said it would be on.  I am going to make sure of it.  I want to see if I can add an image to go with the new single.  I would make more sense.

Update:  I am still working on a video idea for the single and the others, so I hope they will get shot and be entertaining when release date arrives.  Thanks for the patience.

Happy Cinco De Mayo [Blog-A-Day-May] #5

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone.  I hope everyone is doing ok today.  I have been trying to get a better layout for my tracks today.  I feel I might leave out some songs and add more to my debut album.  I am in search of a studio to go to start laying down vocals and see where things go.   So the hunt is on to see if I can make my deadline and have single ready for either June or July release for the world to hear.  Stay tuned.

J Cole new song Disgusting…[Blog-A-Day-May] #4

I was so excited to find out via at work that J Cole was tweeting up a storm and out of no where dropped a new song.  I was like oh snap, I stopped working right away, and found a way to download the song asap.  The song is so dope.  J Cole killed on the new song ‘Disgusting”.  I right away was thinking if I can memorize most of the song within a few days, I am going to shoot a music video or spoof of it.  I so can’t wait for J Cole new album.  I feel his debut album shall be a classic and one of my favorites.

working out feels greats [Blog-A-Day-May] #2

I enjoy working out and being fit.  I need all the energy I can get everyday to be myself.  It’s quite extreme my daily activities are.  So I have also been trying to re work my poetry series, they are missing right now, but I am going to fill in the blanks so don’t you worry.  I like doing Calisthenics workouts as well as playing soccer and tennis, so since my friend Richardo is doing a challenge I figure I will tag along with him.  He is doing a “Hour-Walk-A-Day-May” which makes for us to have good conversation and take in the great New York weather.

Quick update, I am working on dropping my new single “Imma Bout To Crunch” on other websites, as well as working on the second single which to come out on 5.11.11.  Oh yea new website layout coming for the album release.

Beyond the Orchard

Hello friends,

Today begins my journey into being a great improv comedian, musician and live entertainer.  I am also taken on a challenge by Richardo A. Wilson which I shall blog everyday in the month of may.  The challenge is called…’Blog-A-Day-May” it actually has a cool sound to it.  Anyways, today my 1st single of my upcoming album shall be released.  I am very excited by doing so.  Some may not like the song or the nature of its production, but it’s all about having a care-free mind and understanding the direction of the album.

The name of the new single is called “Imma Bout To Crunch”
it’s fresh off the album coming May 31, 2011 – “Jixi Fox Presents The Adventures of Auto Tunes 2”

J. Cole debut album I would have to say is one of the only new artist album I am ready to buy.  J. Cole is such a great artist and no matter how people think it might come out, I am definitely getting it.  It would be like a thanks for the free mixtape albums he dropped such a, The Come Up, The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights.  I even think his debut album might even be called Cole World or A Cole World.  I am happy to have got to listen to such a great artist such as him, as him and Fabolous whom is working on his new mixtape album The S.O.U.L Tape are two awesome artists that helped rock the music world for me in 2010.  I can’t wait for both artist new albums, but more overly, since J. Cole is a new artist and I already got all of Fabolous’s albums, J. Cole is the definitely and number album I am buying this year, hands down.
