love poems – written letters

as i pen these words,
on paper,
for you,
i vow to always,
love you.

if you could see,
the crumbled attempts,
of my perfect written words,
you may think my garbage pail,
is an ice cream cone.

sprinkles of life,
and circles,
and of course hearts,
that would have you melt,
dripping with emotions,
over and over again.

i may have written over 90 letters,
trying to find the right words,
to make you know,
how much,
i love you.

it may seem so far left,
but i know its right,
if you can open your eyes,
you will see,
how much,
i love you.

until the right words,
flow from my insides,
to my out,
i will not stop,
until i can say,
in the right way,
how much,
i love you.

love poems – writing on the wall

i woke up today thinking,
where does love come from,
winking at a poster on the wall,
with a caption,
blinking in my eyes,
saying,
love is everywhere.

it was so apparent,
a little bit surreal,
to believe,
that love can be,
so free,
so soft,
so open,
so real,
for it is right there before you.

it takes me back to a place,
i have been,
trying to feel,
something,
in a moment,
playing and laughing with my crush,
my shyness never allowing me to say,
what i truly felt.

i always escape the day,
not saying what needed,
this deep down inside feeling,
could this be love?
is this something i am needing?

upon reading the caption,
i remembered i missed my chance,
to express my feelings,
as later on I saw my crush,
truly in love,
days after speaking to me,
about us one day meeting,
i guess is was that feeling,
they found,
that they didn’t allow to escape,
to share it with everyone.

i won’t again miss,
the writing on the wall,
in the moment,
in the present.

my fingers curled up in her hair,
she trusts me,
i keep her secure all the time,
she loves me,
what ever she needs,
i provide,
until the end of time,
she is mine,
if I am ready to roll,
she is ready to ride,
i am my happiest,
when she is by my side,
we don’t fear to express,
we created a lane for our love to manifest,
to beauty,
to appreciation,
lovebirds on the wall,
she is my ebony queen,
if she ever stumbles,
i will be there to catch her fall.

love poem – slid so deep in her dms

ran so fast,
try to stop,
but slid,
right into her dms,
that’s what I did,
where your man at,
can I be you man,
i am not a fan girl,
i am trying to be your man,
i ready to bag now,
paper or plastic,
wasting no time,
is probably my worse habit,
if you don’t ask,
how shall you receive,
slid so deep in her dms,
i am on my knees,
hey baby,
can you be mine,
please.

Was it a mistake when I said,
I love you,
Or was I,
Tripping on words,
Fumbled the play,
Tried to catch the rebound,
And touchdown,
Or I mean dunk,
The ball the wrong way,
You see,
You have me,
In a way I have never been,
So is this fate,
A mistake,
Or you are my treasure,
You are a gift,
In my life,
However.

It’s been 20 days since my last confession,
I have the impression,
That I suck,
Or I am just going through stuff,
Let’s buff this out,
Let’s change things around,
No more ghost,
I hope,
Nope,
It’s a go,
No foe,
But one’s self,
Being locked away too many times,
I am my own jail,
So I am breaking free,
Letting it be,
I am going to do me,
Before I scream.
