NO REGRETS

regrets

Living with no limits I rise the to occasion,
I left all my pass worries and went of vacation,
No regrets for me, I am living my life how I want to,
Freedom of expression and will is what I am drawn to,

I use to worry about what others think, now I don’t,
You can’t tell me what to do now, because I won’t,
I will fly solo and soar in the sky or let loose in the wild,
Just to be me at the end of the day, with a beautiful smile.

So I read, laying awake at night,
Book in hand or e-reading away,

I am thrilled by puzzles and stories,
Nothing I read could ever bore me,
For so there is much content and interests,
My eyes and mind the words I ingest.

Always on edge, I am not trying to slip,
An opportunity in life, I am not trying to miss,
I list all my flaws and continue to eliminate them,
I am hungry for this game, the knowledge and the wealth,

Quite animated, I am not gated, not fainted when on stage,
I got the power in my hand, I go hard, I am brave,
No slave but I do like whips and all these chains,
I am bringing myself back to life, new life, let’s do it again.

Drop some fresh lines with so old school jams, remix,
Bumping to the sounds, yea that flava in your ear,
The music moves yours body, wave your hands like you don’t care,

From slow jams to beat box, let’s keep the party going,
People hating on creative expressions, they don’t even know man,
The feeling music gives when creating and everything is flowing,
Is the best for everyone to love and digest, healthy growing.

Don’t spill the cup, it’s filled with ice,
Riches and gems you don’t know the price,
What is beauty when honesty is often forgotten,
People forget how to stay on top, is how they operate at the bottom,

Luxury and lush escapes our finger tips,
Serving life sentences because we didn’t have a grip,
On society, and life, racism and religion so we got to pray,
For time has changed, living costs goes up but not so the pay.

We pay the price to be where we are at…
