The table where we sit to speak,
The table where you look at me,
The table where we eat our meal,
The table where we talk about how we feel.

There Are Still Mountains To Climb

Posted on December 13, 2023December 13, 2023 by Jixi Fox

Just a reminder the journey is not over yet, so keep climbing. 🙂

As we ascend more, we have people who want us to keep going.

Fancy This

Posted on December 11, 2023December 11, 2023 by Jixi Fox

With happy thoughts around,
I am here to make them stay,
Only time I can’t complete my tasks,
Is when I keep getting in my own way?

Go figure…

Thanks for reading.

Daily writing prompt
List your top 5 grocery store items.
View all responses

Going to the grocery store is like a sport for me; it’s calming, it’s sporty, and it’s finding great deals on items to make my body great. 5 items that tend to top my grocery list are: water, vegetables, eggs, almond milk, and fruits. More specifically, bananas are the top fruit to pick up.

New Skills and Lessons: Deeper Analysis

What skills or lessons have you learned recently?

Saturday Night Vibes

Saturday night vibes for me are a mixture and blend of cool, chill, and learning. I have been spending a lot more time tweaking my analytics and SEO and maximizing my productivity. It’s been really fulfilling. I am actually taking online classes and courses as well. I am so obsessed with upskilling. I am having a blast.

In my words, I am building a system for maximizing my minimalism. I am working to be sharp and agile.

Things I Recently Learned

  • Quickbooks for accounting.
  • How to maximize your awareness and visibility for LLC and Corporations.
  • How to use generative AI to simplify tasks and save massive time with automation.
  • Top 20 plugins for your WordPress website.
  • How to build a custom widget
  • How to spot symptoms of why people snore.
  • How to change all the locks on a door and safeguard a property.
  • How to install and manage security camera systems in commercial and residential setting.

Okay, here is my current position.

  1. I have a bookshelf once again, filled with books to read. I will have a post for the books on my new bookshelf soon.
  2. I recently revisited my GoodReads.com account to review books and will bring that to my website as well. If you have Amazon Account, literally
  3. I have just signed up for MasterClass.com for a yearly subscription. $100 for a year. Since I am out of university, it’s an investment in my education. No matter where you are in life, you can always learn and gain more knowledge and education without going to a traditional school with high tuition costs. Imagine I lived in New York City, and a semester for just community college is $3000-$5000 per 6 months. Do the math; a $100 investment per year in yourself will help you gain more skills, certifications, knowledge, skills to monetize, education, and career status to gain a raise, promotion, or find new job opportunities. It can also help your family.
  4. I have also signed up for LinkedIn Learning via LinkedIn.com. I am doing a free trial for 30 days, completing 10 courses, and gaining 10 professional certificates before the trial ends. If you are not there and creating organic connections, you are missing out. It is projected to be a game-changer in 2024.

It was for this year already, but if used well, imagine having coffee conversational interviews and chats with important people in their professional roles who are still real people. So think magazine editors, journalists, seminar hosts, authors, true gatekeepers, or people to unlock doors.

FYI, this is not sponsored post, for this post is about upskilling and my
  5. I also have a few YouTube Channels I follow and love the content creators I will also share with my audience and have a Resources page on my website for people to interact with and level up. I will create a post about my top YouTube creators.
Most of the YouTubers I will list are in the industries of aesthetics, business and finance, financial freedom, and more. Only content that will help anyone get ahead in life.

Final words: invest in yourself. But also, don’t be afraid to take advantage of test trials on services to level up your knowledge base.

The Life I Pictured A Year Ago

Posted on December 8, 2023December 8, 2023 by Jixi Fox
Daily writing prompt
Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?
View all responses

Granted, I am a fun-loving, cool guy who writes free verse poetry in his sleep. I truly do create these amazing stories, fantasies, and concepts through my dreams and nightmares. Short-form writing has always been my key to life after learning psychology, I speak too much. Also, I learn in English after a few C’s; get to the point already.

Through reading more books, I learned many talents from Atomic Habits, One Minute Manager, Steal Like an Artist, The Art of War, and the 48 Laws of Power. Now, did I read these books in the same year? Nope! After talking to many people online and off, and watching many interviews with a handy pen and paper, or my smartphone notepad, I was put onto some of the most amazing books to be more well rounded in life.

One of the deepest sentiments I keep in my life every single year, which comes from my favorite HBO TV show, Entourage, is that I don’t want to be a suit. I can act like a suit, but I am a creative.

I picture myself a year ago, bursting back on the scene to explore more of my talents and skills and just be a positive influence on others, being a creative. Being a suit, for which I am a bit in my day work for unnatural reasons, I can come off strong and a bit menancing because I am very good at what I do, but being that empathic creative encourager of awesomeness and positivity, I will always thank my creative side.

Life and Time: Poetry

Time is vital.
As life is,
So make time,
To enhance your life.

I Admire Those Who

Posted on December 6, 2023December 7, 2023 by Jixi Fox
Daily writing prompt
What is something others do that sparks your admiration?
View all responses

I have a lot of admiration, but it’s targeted at a few topics and areas in society. I admire those who are immigrants with immigrant parents who do not lose their cool, when their parent tell them to do this copy and paste lifestyle they never lived or experienced. I admire people who actually check up on their grandparents and ask them questions, and I thank them for having sex so their parents have sex, so you can be here. Okay, that does not sound entirely correct, but it is mostly correct.

I admire people who go on walks and actually stop to smell and touch the flowers. I admire people who care about life. It doesn’t matter who’s life, but everyone’s life.
