Pour In The Cup | Spoken Word Poetry | Feeling Full

Posted on January 2, 2025January 4, 2025 by Jixi Fox

“Overflow”

Until full,
Pour in,
Like oceans deposits,
Waves to shores,
Crashing with weights,
Carrying the pain,
A little unclean,
A few pure.

Filled up until delighted,
The mirror catches reflections of smiling back,
As if to say, “I see you now.”

Be the one,
who holds light even in storms,
the lighthouse that’s standing still,
while the waves reach to your feet.

Be the one that’s dedicated.
To loving loud,
To burning bright.

Until full,
Pour in,
Overflow,
And come together,
As we meet.
