Stay the course and run the race, in the end, you will be left in a better case.
This poem ends the April’s National Poetry Writing Month. I am excited and loved I was able to jump in like I did years ago and release some good 8 lines a day poems. I had a great time reading others blogs and writing. People have so much to say lately and happy to read, learn and relate.
I invested the time necessary, I thought of, and collected words, I wish to send to you, Loving every single moment, Connecting, listening, sharing and caring, Each day I felt I can do more, Because of you, I never stopped writing, Even if I had to pause, I continued.
Celebrating my biggest consistency achievement ever, 1,000 posts streak on my website Jixi Fox: Life & Creativity. It sounds a bit mind blowing to know I could have been this dedicated. I remember the years I was just trying to do 14 days, then 30 days then 365. I was fighting life and creativity all at the same time. But it wasn’t even until about 2 years ago I achieved 365 days writing. I looked at myself in the reflection of my Macbook screen and said, Would I be crazy enough to go for 1,000 posts? Look at life, we are now here at 1,000. It’s a humble quest, I don’t think I can continue at this level. But think about this notion. “If everyday I am able to breathe air, why can’t I write everyday?“
Shouts of to all my peers and creators out there, hoping you too is putting in that work and showing up for yourselves. 🙂
Hey everyone, I just wanted to create a mini-series to celebrate National Poetry Writing Month. I figure this will be a unique addition to my writing style, making it a little more pop and lighthearted.
Scattered strokes on canvas of white, Showcase dreams that danced at night. Fragments formed from joy and pain, Light and dark versus sun and rain.
Sculptures breaks shape and bends where silence speaks, The curves ran to the soul it seeks. Each piece a whisper, caught in space, A fleeting truth the hands embrace.

So much in, Not much out, I feel I packed, Like I going on, The longest journey, But I am not, So why did I stuff myself up, So much?
Maybe I might be hibernating soon?

Are you still there? Or have you already left? How can loving you be wrong? When I am on your right, to your left, I felt a way today, That wasn’t there yesterday, I drifted a afar, But I actually never left.
