FREE VERSE POETRY
I let go of the finger,
I pressed the button,
I unlocked the heat,
They call the oven,
Now it’s burning,
Yea, outside and in,
I been unleashed,
To over take my craving,
They see me now,
I am coming,
I am on the chase,
And they are running,
But finally,
The time has come,
Don’t worry about the battle,
For the war is already won.
