Watching The World Pass Me By
I can’t be energetic everyday. Sometimes I watch from the sidelines as the day passes by me. I wave as everything is still in play, except for me. I need a rest from everything. Keeping up just to be keeping up, might lead to a burn out. That’s probably why I feel burnt now. As I lay in bed with Netflix next to me, soon to watch tv then switch to the tv watching me.
In a subtle way, I am taking a rest until tomorrow.

Happy Mother’s Day
A special day for the most special and the most important; mothers for this is how you arrived on earth and have life. Also if you found a mom that nurtured you whether biological or not, if you were able to have a mother you were blessed. 🥹.

Begin A The End!
Where are you going today? Will you still be tomorrow? What about next week and next year? When you see the end result, but not fearing the actually journey, is the important reason to start now.
Living with a purpose and vision is vital. We don’t always know how will get there or know what everyday will be like. But we should have a vision of the ending.
Lock into that focus, take some chances on yourself and invest in yourself. Along the way you may find allies, work with them, as they will get you to that ending you desire.

Today was good day. The day before Mother’s Day. I loved the feel of the day. I tried some new foods and got to listen to a good playlist of R&B this weekend.
I went to a soccer game and enjoyed some good tv shows. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Let’s Kick This Off Right
I have nothing much to say, but I encourage you to kick your Friday night off the right way. A little sip of wine or water, whatever is your desire. Get the Apple TV or Netflix; you probably have that Amazon Prime (stop buying so much stuff). Get that blanket ready and, of course, the pillow. Make your Friday so sweet, for you will have to wait 7 days to get another.
I plan on catching up on some shows. I may slide an anime in there. No wine but water for me, but I have some tasty juice. So after it all, I will definitely hit the snooze in the morning.

In Demand
To be in demand is a pleasure, but so much pressure. Some days you want it like, but it dark, coffee. But the days it looks like sun, there is rain. Take each day, one by one, for the demand to do more is always requested. But take a break for yourself is highly suggested.
Pace yourself young grasshopper. Rome was not built in a day.

Playing The Villain Role | Poetic Dark Poetry
The Villain Role
It was all fun until I showed up,
Doubts in the air,
The energy running through the body,
Is fear,
Geared to react,
Than be proactive,
Because someone is about to sin,
Being a villain ain’t all about the win,
It’s about doing things that makes you cringe,
Hop onto YouTube or TikTok,
And just toxicity binge,
Going down the rabbit hole,
Can’t escape,
So you cry alone,
It’s cuts too deep,
Say you raise your head up,
Looking for help,
But the help is in demon mode,
The help is a villain himself.
Some days we play the villain role, not the hero. We all can’t be good all the time. So be ready and equipped before betrayal looms.

Connecting Back With The Community
When It Feels So Good
It feels so good,
Connecting back with the community,
The unity,
Is so damn good,
But it ain’t new to me,
Been in the game a long time,
I love it here,
Sometime you got to take a break,
So often we tend to disappearing,
Reappearing from the ashes,
I tend to feel the glow,
How good I am feeling,
I need everyone to know.
Just dropping some fresh bars off the top of the head. New free verse, free write, while feeling inspired working closer towards a new project. I have been checking out and engaging more with new blogs, and people who I have been followed, and just got to celebrate their works. For it’s never just about you and what you are going on, it’s about the collective. When the community is on fire, add more lighter fluid to it, and keep the community uplifted and supported. I am going to do a write-up at a later date for all the fire new content I have been seeing, which is so inspiring.
