Snow storm Jonas,
Rolled up and became a blizzard,
Blocked all bus from running,
O M G it’s getting serious,
Stacking up inches trying to beat records of snow,
I can’t wait for it all to melt,
That shiz got to go,
North East feeling it hard,
Warm inside,
Trying to stay calm,
I feel it for people who have no home.
This life ain’t fair,
I wrote this poem today,
For truly I care…

FREE VERSE FRIDAY

Did all the work,
I acted my ass off,
As if I was a hungry rapper.
I rapped my ass off,
I held it down with my peers,
I shed a few tears,
All my scenes were flawless,
None of my dialogues were impaired,
I was hoping to get nods,
But it’s like a war like Vietnam,
I can’t stay still,
Or stay clam,
Shall I boycott or go hard?
No matter who brings the storm,
I am still great and you can’t hate,
I am definitely the bomb.

Valuable item,
Baby be my time piece,
If you lost in the world,
Go ahead and find me,
I can point you north,
And show you some nice things,
I can shower you with bling,
I called that the icings,
You deserve nice things,
Some piping,
To your liking,
That’s why I am rhyming,
So if you see me waving,
From way over there,
I want you beside me,

Look at Bob,
Sleeping on the job,
Away in his thoughts,
He is looking kind of lost,
I am tripping that he a sleep,
I wish I had more time with my pillow,
He snoozing loud as fudge,
I wish I was there too like ditto,
Not sure what he is thinking,
I guess he ain’t worried about his job,
Maybe the check bores him,
I guess ain’t nothing fudging with Bob,
Maybe he plotting about his passion,
Ready to make a jump,
Not living check to check,
Doing tasks with no benefits and ain’t even fun,
It could be that he is lazy,
But that might make me seem like a hater,
I guess I will find up once he gets up later,
We all got a path,
I ain’t trying to be like Bob,
Because my career is doing what I love,
That is also the same title as my job.

I saw it in a dream,
The scheme,
A theme,
My team,
Of people who believe,
In me,
To be,
Here,
Existing and living loudly,
Proudly ridding myself of doubt,
I dream no longer,
For I am living it out,
Episode after episode,
Day after day,
I play my dream out,
To the world,
Even from my room,
Where I stay.

I don’t fear to be myself,
All I have is my knowledge,
My wealth,
But when I share it online,
I wonder who really reads them,
We are in the society of the stroll page,
A double tap or quick like thang,
On to the next one,
No more connection,
It’s as if we have no brain,
Running a fast pace race,
Only a few of us,
Do train,
Our minds,
Our time,
Study our climb,
Descend if there is no value,
No shame,
So how much do we pay attention?
How much do we miss in a day?
No more time to read,
Always time to play,
I guess that’s why we have problems,
We tend to not solve each day.
