Picture This #poem

Posted on August 17, 2025August 17, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Picture this,
Me catching them all,
Like Pokémon,
The badges of experience,
Travel here and there,
Doing that and this,
Wondering which one did I miss,
Never kissing my dreams goodbye,
I welcome them in time,
Running my own race,
Sometimes I do laps,
But most times I go the hardest,
For the win and photo finish,
Picture this.

Hope you enjoy, be cool & chill ✌️
Let me know your thoughts đź’ in the comments.

Thanks for reading,

It’s Like I Woke Up #poem

Posted on August 16, 2025 by Jixi Fox
Clock ⏰

Too many days afraid,
Silent,
Dimmed lights,
Close to darkness,
Forgotten but open,
Reaching,
Wanting to be molded,
Focus on the just,
Surviving,
Until,
Finally,
Something changed,
Me,
I didn’t feel the same,
Refreshed even,
Under a new source,
A new hope,
I felt like,
I just woke up.

Loosely Translucent | Free Verse Poetry #poem

Posted on August 15, 2025August 16, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Loosely Translucent | Poetry

I couldn’t see you,
I lied,
I saw you clearly,
I cried,
I knew it wasn’t tight,
It’s widely loose,
Descriptive adjectives,
I have the juice,
Wordplaying everyday,
I be causing mayhem,
Is all I am saying,
I am mad loose with it on the daily,
I almost didn’t severely.

Sharp Corners #spokenword

Posted on August 14, 2025August 14, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Sharp Corners | Poetry

Some places aren’t meant for soft hands,
So change your touch,
Embrace things differents,
Even when you feel the rush,

I’ve kissed edges,
And bled on the truth,
And found out the world doesn’t file itself under smooth.

Sometimes life is as sharp as these edges we touch.

It’s Fine

Posted on August 11, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Opening up to new delights,

I keep my eyes wide,

So much to explore,

I am like my wine fine,

Aged right,

Having a Devine time,

I just want what is mine,

And that’s fine.

Sitting Down

Posted on August 10, 2025 by Jixi Fox

In bed,

I set down,

Heavy is my head,

I sit down,

Roll over to rest.

The Times of Us

Posted on August 9, 2025 by Jixi Fox

We move,

Side by side.

We love in seasons,

In summer heat,

Just proof we were alive,

Worth every heartbeat.

The Calming #freeverse #poetry

Posted on August 8, 2025 by Jixi Fox

I put my hands in the water,

not to cleanse it,

But feeling the weight of it loosening,

Nothing but whispers,

Just faint,

No more rushing,

Can’t loose touch,

I am staying,

Calmer than usual.
