To let go is is the hardest,
What’s coming off my chest,
Invest in solutions,
I invest in what’s real,
In the end,
It’s still only pain I feel.

I was stuck in a storm,
broken and not thinking,
half-believing, and barely feeling,
’Til I whispered my dreams out loud,
not to beg, but to claim,
Something real I can obtain.
Now I plant hope with open hands,
manifesting brighter plans.
The world didn’t change overnight,
but I did,
As I decided,
To bring my light,

But I am still delivering the raw cuts,

I build universes and short tales,

As it ticks,
Licking my lips,
Fixating on a flip,
Moving like a shark,
But I can’t swim,
Tank top on,
My sleeves gone with the wind,
Where do I stand,
Better yet,
I know who I am,
Whether I am falling,
Or crawling,
I for sure got the grip,
I may want for more,
But I aint missing a thing.
