A Cute Feeling

Posted on April 9, 2025 by Jixi Fox

As moments and minutes pass,

I am happy to grasp,

The feeling I have been,

Waiting on,

The feeling of delight and intrigue,

The one that wants you next to me,

The cute feeling of relief 😮‍💨 ,

The cute feeling of me being me.

I Felt You So Deep, I Had To Exhale

Posted on April 8, 2025April 8, 2025 by Jixi Fox

When It’s Too Deep

My exposed feelings,
Had me trembling,
I felt you so deep,
I had to exhale,
I needed to be free,
I took you in, too much,
When I inhaled,
I had to let go,
I had to let you out,
You filled me all the way up.

Our love pourth over.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to create a mini-series to celebrate National Poetry Writing Month. I figure this will be a unique addition to my writing style, making it a little more pop and lighthearted.

I hope you like it; bye. 🙂

It May Just Cost Too Much

Posted on April 7, 2025April 7, 2025 by Jixi Fox

The Cost Of Peace

How much is peace?
Can I redeem it like a coupon,
What is this time I been upon,
Why do I have to wait this long?
So many questions and less answers,
I may be in need of prayer,
Where is there a pastor?
To find this thing called peace.

It Can Be Enough

Posted on April 6, 2025April 8, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Poem | NaPoWriMo

Every lost moment,
Can be redeemed,
Every feeling of safety,
Can boost my self esteem,
I dream of happy,
Even when extra sapping,
The more I say I am enough,
The more I can see being happy.

Just A Bit Of Drizzle

Posted on April 5, 2025April 8, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Poem | NaPoWriMo

Let it pour down,
Slide down,
From the top,
Just a drizzle or more,
We don’t want the frosting,
To stuck,
It needs to move,
To create the groove you need.

Long Before Me Was You

Posted on April 4, 2025April 8, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Long Before Me

Lonely your were sitting,
Waiting for a change,
Then reality started hitting,
Things are not going to be the same,
Laying alone,
Was never to be,
So now and forever,
It will be you and me.

When I Think About Love

Posted on April 2, 2025April 3, 2025 by Jixi Fox

A Poem About Love

Knowing how and when to show up,
That is the key,
But the mind wonders widely,
When is someone going to pick me,
To share and care,
And never fear,
But am I asking for too much?
I just want someone to be there.

Closing Out The Day | Spoken Word Poetry

Posted on March 20, 2025March 22, 2025 by Jixi Fox

SPOKEN WORD

Life is such a joy,
I deploy down different avenues,
To stay the same,
Is going insane,
I choose what I truly want to do,
Like take flights and chill,
Or eat sandwiches while paying bills,
Things hit differently,
But vicariously,
People live through me,
That’s why I can’t stop telling stories,
For everyday away,
Feels like I left the world neglected,
Like days upon days,
So I say to you,
Even if don’t get to you early,
I will will get you at the closing of the day.

*Note: Stay humble and engaged.
