Flew Around The World To Love You | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

Hopped upon a jet,
To get to you much faster,
Love can’t wait longer.

Long distance is just not working out anymore. I must be closer to you.

God Told Me To Love You | Haiku | Poem

Posted on February 12, 2025February 12, 2025 by Jixi Fox

HAIKU

I told you I won’t,
Love you just because of you,
I did it for God.

God spoke to me, pointed me your way, and told me it’s okay to love. He gave me the strength to love you.

Key Only I Had The Key | Haiku

Posted on February 5, 2025February 5, 2025 by Jixi Fox

If I had the key,
Would the locked door call for me?
Or stay silent still?

Gentle Releases | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 29, 2025January 30, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Let the wind guides your thoughts, let them flow likes leaves falling to the ground. The world will open up to hear the words you were meant to say in silence.

HAIKU

Worry less, breathe deep,
Leaves fall without asking why,
Wind cradles their peace.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

Have you ever watched leaves fall?

Craving Dance | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 22, 2025January 22, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Most days I let loose, and while I feel the groove, the melody has me tipsy, allowing me to crash out on the dance floor. So I hold on for dear life, like life has all the power to keep me up, when I really want to get down with my bad self and show off into the night. Tomorrow may be another episode of what did I do last night? For which, your friends will always have pictures. 🙂

HAIKU

Waves seduce the shore,
Lick the edges, bite the sand,
Moonlight pulls them close.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

Are you a person who loves the beach?

The Best Ripple Effects In Life | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 15, 2025January 15, 2025 by Jixi Fox

In life, there are things we do that cause a ripple effect. There can be good results and bad results. But until you try, you won’t know. We dream of only positive outcomes, but we know sometimes destiny has a different calling.

HAIKU

Tiny steps echo,
Big effect on winds unseen,
Dreams walk away free.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

What is something you have done that created a ripple effect?

A Love Storm | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 8, 2025January 9, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Love, Like a Storm

Clouds crash, skies tremble,
Raindrops race down broken glass,
Hearts rebuild below.

When love just causes chaos and more heartache, what do you do?

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

When was the last time love hurt you?

Woven Days | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 1, 2025January 2, 2025 by Jixi Fox
Woven

“Woven Days”

Busy winds collide,

Woes dance with the highs and lows,

Time hums soft goodbyes.

Some days I can’t fight the woes; I run away from the highs and the lows. When my life has found more purposes, I froze, until fresh air blew to unlock my toes so I can walk again.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

What a high in your life that gives you energy to continue your journey?

Pardon The Wait

Posted on September 14, 2024 by Jixi Fox

Slow pacing, not heavy to head, I am chasing it. I am cozy and far from gone, drinking every drop no wasting in. It’s a toast to everything as I am tasting it. Let the pour go over my cup and the drips to the side are easy lick off.

Passionate lines, rhyming, I finding it hard to be in, but trying deeply.

Blank Canvas! (series)

It’s poetry and prose left up to your own interpretation. The art and words create a space for emotions and expression.
