Let’s Kick This Off Right

I have nothing much to say, but I encourage you to kick your Friday night off the right way. A little sip of wine or water, whatever is your desire. Get the Apple TV or Netflix; you probably have that Amazon Prime (stop buying so much stuff). Get that blanket ready and, of course, the pillow. Make your Friday so sweet, for you will have to wait 7 days to get another.

I plan on catching up on some shows. I may slide an anime in there. No wine but water for me, but I have some tasty juice. So after it all, I will definitely hit the snooze in the morning.

Clocking Out From Work

When I Clock Out After Work

Some days I am cool,
Other days I am not,
On the 9 to 5 grind,
To get to the top,
But that one annoying coworker,
Gonna make me blow my top,
Per my last email, the title,
You already know what’s happening,
When I punch the clock.

The Side Piece

She cheated,
With me though,
I was the side piece,
Not even the full meal,
I tried to shield myself,
From falling in love,
Now I loved the one I loved,
Without a glove,
Now I am a side piece, with extra sides.

Why I Don’t Mess With You | Free Verse Poetry | Stories

Mayday, it’s going down; the plan ain’t working; you need to abort the mission. There is a collision of time and rhyme, and what I have found is the reason why, I just don’t mess with you.

Free Verse Poetry

Left the house late for a date,
I said meet me at the gym,
My pull-up game was awesome,
But I didn’t a have spotter,
So I got small-talked by the guy that can’t talk,
I walked by the woman that can’t walk,
Either way she was gaining reps,
She is never off beat or missed a step,
Wet is how I wanted to be,
Dripping in sweat,
Yea,
I didn’t say I was going to taste good,
Booked a class,
Paid for a ticket for a guest,
But I was guest-less,
I suggest to my angry self,
To hide when that call comes in,
Hey are you headed to the gym,
But my devilish side kicked in,
With a grin,
For the very moment,
Answer the call and say,
Each day you remind me,
Of why I don’t mess with you,
You are lame, always late,
Always wants a ride,
But never ready at the gate,
So fate, told me to delete your number,
And maybe switch phones,
If you can’t hear anything I say after this,
Just know,
dead ass! dial tone.

I don’t take shit for granted,
I let it out when I speak,
It’s not what you wanted,
I going to give you what you need,
Pop goes the weasel,
Shut up and get on your knees,
I am free with the bars,
I step feet first,
You always coming in last,
Because it’s me first,
I know I may not go,
Where you want me to be,
I got places to go,
So just pencil me in please 🙏

A Pet With Superpowers in Real Life | Interesting

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

Well I took it further from the prompt for laughs and giggles, a pet with superpowers. Oh man, my pet would cause so much harm. I think of movies like Honey I Blew The Kids, and animation like Super Pets and The Minions. If my pet was to understand one thing, of course it would be I love you and I am your master and to under every command I say translate to an action to do. 

It’s such a weird question, of course you want you pet to understand language and emotions. But surely, it’s a pet, it doesn’t have school and trainings and control of life like humans, but hey common communication, understanding and feelings would be interesting. Lastly, they need to know baths are not bad, they should want to do so, and help me make the best pet youtube channel in the world. :) ha ha
