As I try to find myself, I keep getting lost. Even though I have the map, the directions are a bit too blurry to see. I see me looking for you, going somewhere far, over the moon, afternoon delights. I am ready to play. Take me away to someplace so I can get a taste of you.

I introduce to you the “If Fantasies Could Be Real” series—eight episodes of crafty, creative, intimate poetry of romance, sensual, and sultry energy.

GETTING LOST IN IT | ROMANCE POETRY

In the same spot,
As yesterday,
I am not moving,
Anytime soon,
It’s the late afternoon,
I called out of work yesterday,
I am not even at my place,
I must be lost,
Last night had it’s moments,
I was twisted and tossed,
Feeling trapped inside,
And still don’t want to leave,
I need more and more,
More of your energy,
Reminiscing of every moment,
In slow motion,
Caressed so soft,
Body filled with lotion,
And natural oils,
Skin feeling exfoliated,
Never the same position,
Body parts always changing,
All my areas seem so ancient,
As they start to get discovered,
I am not going anywhere,
I am getting back under the covers.

My Question For You:
Have you ever laid down and not wanted to get back up?
Where is somewhere you have been and you didn’t want to leave?

Some days you just want to let out those inner thought. It comes on so heavy and when we least expect it. The burst of imaginary and subconscious starts to create the storyline to the unveiling moments of openness and what could be and with whom.

LAID UP | ROMANCE POETRY

I have been laid up,
Waiting on you,
To come through,
To do the things you do,
Perform all your moves,
In garments that are see through,
I could never be on my best behavior,
When it comes to you,
The way you make me feel,
Each time I am close to you,
I have things that rise,
Like eyebrows,
You teach me new things,
When I don’t know how,
To let off steam,
I dream,
Insert fantasy,
I am a bit passive see,
As you assert your ways,
It makes me say,
I am calling out from work today,
To be laid up,
With you.

Luring In You In With Silent Words | Romance | Love Poem

In the heart of the city, nestled between the buildings and very little tree, was a quaint location of secret mystery known as ” The Whispering Pages.” It was a sanctuary for those who found solace in the rustle of pages and the scent of old books. I inhaled and protest these words:

As I lure you in,
Deep breaths,
Affection grew,
Wishing I knew,
More of every inch,
The touch,
The elegant essence,
I stretch my arms out for you,
To hold me and feel my embrace,
As I gaze into your eyes,
I felt at home.

How I Felt Loved And The People That Loved Me

Looking through some old documents I came upon a card. Well, it was a few cards, I found from past employees and co-workers I have worked with, that wrote some beautiful words towards me. The feeling of appreciation and love, they showed me for me being myself and the compassion I shown them and encourage them to have while we worked together. These cards were not forced and I feel the words just spilled of the tongue so easily.

There were two employments I worked at that the people loved me and really showcased it daily. You can say I was their favorite manager, there favorite and positive beacon of light as they came to work and greeted so warmly and nice. However, afterwards I gave them a bunch of work and say get busy, scram, and they just smile and laugh and say anything for you Jixi, you are such a grinch. Okay, maybe they didn’t say I was a grinch, they did call me mean, but I guess in a playful way. 

Where ever I work, I always get the best out of people, as I always give the best into people, and I will accept nothing less. If we both going to slave at work together and go through the woes, we might as well have fun, achieve greatness, eat some tasty lunch or breakfast, before we get tired and go home safely to our families. Even though I was a hard ass to everyone, I was the most kindest hard ass in the game. 🙂

This prompt hits the soul, the biggest risk would be to pure my heart out to someone, and ask them to love me unconditionally. I want this one person to just trust in you, even though you haven’t known each other long, that I got them, and I just want them to have me.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, 16 YEARS BLOGGING

Well yup, the numbers sound just about right, Happy 16th Year Blog Anniversary. The Jixi Fox blog was born in October 2007, just a few months before my debut music/poetry album independently made Kreative Expressions. In these beginning years, it was a proud moment and the internet was evolving. So many services to choose from but I choose code, “Code is Poetry” for I write poetry and life in my words. I wrote deep and short pieces that related with others and help build this strong community we have now on WordPress.

From the (4) WordPress Word Camps I have attended & hosted and more to come, I knew my writing career and expressive creative writing was here to stay. From the depths of college years back then when no really knew what blogging and seo was, I was there, guiding, commenting, promoting, laughing and enjoying words of others.

As much as this is a celebration for me, for I will honor every year, it’s a celebration to all the writers, bloggers, creatives, to keep pushing. Keep creating and connecting.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I started to celebrate a lot more of me these special moments and milestones starting 2021. I was always told, I just kept going and never take a time to look back and see where I have come from.

Thanks to anyone who ever viewed, dropped a like or just a kind friend who came over to my home. #community.

Why Is It So Hard To Break Up? | Rant

I am not going to lie, I am mad as hell. I am been trying to break up for so long with with my phone service provider. Like they not trying to pick my calls, they know I am calling from my new boo. I mean new boo, is not so much better than old boo, forget that, it was never my boo. I am just mad, pick up my calls. I feel like to sue you. Like I am that mad. I am here late at night thinking and trying to break up. I am doing all the required steps, I done verified my old number and password, and everything. Like what’s the deal. You done took my autopay money out my bank account, you bad bad service (lol, I am totally going all in on this rant, so laughable, let me continue.)

Remember it was me paying my bills on time. It was me, when I was telling everyone you had good service and stuff. It was me, calling family through WhatsApp on Wifi and traveling to islands knowing you got me on roaming charges. It was me.

Also it was me who you started robbing with high a$$ fees, taking my autopay money and took over 6 months to get back. It was me, but little did you know I am a real one, oh yea, you didn’t know that huh, I know how to call my credit card company and my bank, I know the secret codes. I am pro at this. While you still aint picking up my calls, I am so mad, I going to win in the end, trust me. Just one phone call and my evidence to the fraud department and it’s all, NEW CARD, WHO DIS? NEW ACCOUNT, WHO DIS?

I am going to be so brand new with my new phone service boo, which I know will also hike up their prices in about 1-2 years and we are going fight and break up. But for now, PICK UP THE PHONE. I hate you. (okay hate is an ugly word, ummmm I will be kind, I truly unlike you deeply.). I can’t wait to move on, heal, get therapy and do better things with my new boo (phone service plan).

Opening Up To A Reality Not Yet Set

Do you realize nothing is impossible,
It only matter on the space for which,
That reality is created?
For dreams do exist,
So is our creativity,
The sky is the limit,
Should be in every little kids lunch kit,
We are gifted with imagination,
To unlock doors,
Believe in that anything is possible.
Inside we have the key.
