LOST CAUSE

Digging my way out,
People wrote me off,
Calling me a lost cause,
Look at me now,
Heads turned,
Bodies paused,
I am standing in front,
Staring straight in your faces,
Head on shoulder strong,
I cover all my bases,
I am in amazement,
When I look at my growth,
The things I overcame,
I could only have hoped,
But I am sailing on a boat,
I am making trips around the world,
Nothing precious than showing love,
That beats a thousand pearls,
I learned, I got helped,
A good mental health is wealth,
Trust me I say that in doubles,
I keep my foot grounded,
I stay out of trouble,
Being a beacon of light to others,
I want to see more people accepted,
Never give up,
Brush your shoulders off,
Pick up from the place you last left it.

I found a real steal,
I make moves,

I got real skills,
Fill me up,

I ask have you the seen the sky lately,
They say no, what’s up?
It’s it full of beauty,
I am doing the damn thing,
That’s my duty.

I keep reaching and reaching,
Hold on,
This is an ambitious a tale,
About an individual,
Whose aim is to succeed,
And never meet fail,
For failure would mean,
Not reaching to the stars,
Hey I am Jixi Fox,
I am poet that write bars,
I wake I take off,
My to do list is fill,
An idea comes to mind,
Explosion in my head,
I think it’s so ill,
I am grew new arms,
I have more I want to touch,
But,
You guessed it,
I can’t be in all places,
I am staggered,
I am stuck.

What Fear Have You Conquered?

I never dare to be such a rule breaker and disruptor. I was always fearful of how I would seem to others. If it was pleasing the words and ideas I used and believed it. I was shy, I was to myself, I was almost waiting for approval to make an action. Until the day I broke the system. I can’t recall what day or time it was. I can’t pinpoint the year, but I feel it was the age 13. I made it my mission to break all norms. I wanted to be fearless, I wanted to be original and push the cards every bit I can.

What the world told you to do, “society” I wanted the opposite. All the boxes they told you must fill, I didn’t care for the boxes at all, I colored outside the box. I conquered the fear of being me. The person I was meant to be. The rebel, the nemesis to normal, but the front runner for personality and natural occurrences.

I felt I have done this in a way, people appreciated me for being that person. I became the beacon of what is possible when you stop listening to others and start listening to yourself. That is me today.

What is your preferred mode of travel?

Plane, Trains and Automobiles.
Don’t forget about the boat,
So legendary I am the goat,
So slippery they call me soap,
I ship myself to islands,
So I am travelled,
Below my feet is water,
I mean ice, okay sort of…

I prefer driving so I can hit the coast,
Or take the scenic way taking buses I hope,
Lucky me I didn’t forget my ticket,
If not there is no entry not so dope,
I go chu chu,
Training myself for new cultures,
New tastes and new meals,
What I bring back may be epic,
I definitely thought it was a steal,
I am in promo state,
When I see face,
Everything I gaze,
Don’t worry how I got here,
Get out my face.
