Closed doors,
Oh my how I hate those,
Never have they been opened,
Bolted and ready, to be kicked in,
I can’t wake, not ready to give in,
For my dreams became a nightmare,
I now have bruises, I have cries, do you see my tears?
I want to wake up so I can feel alive again,
To know action comes with all types of consequences,
If there was a way to slow time down, Matrix,
Or have body double zombies chasing me, Crazy,
It would be so great to know what I do is real,
Rather than a shadow I can’t shake, hamster on a wheel,
So because I can’t be awaken,
I guess I am trapped,
Caught only in dreams,
Where everything only goes right,
You can truly say it’s lonely at the top.
