i woke up today thinking,
where does love come from,
winking at a poster on the wall,
with a caption,
blinking in my eyes,
saying,
love is everywhere.
it was so apparent,
a little bit surreal,
to believe,
that love can be,
so free,
so soft,
so open,
so real,
for it is right there before you.
it takes me back to a place,
i have been,
trying to feel,
something,
in a moment,
playing and laughing with my crush,
my shyness never allowing me to say,
what i truly felt.
i always escape the day,
not saying what needed,
this deep down inside feeling,
could this be love?
is this something i am needing?
upon reading the caption,
i remembered i missed my chance,
to express my feelings,
as later on I saw my crush,
truly in love,
days after speaking to me,
about us one day meeting,
i guess is was that feeling,
they found,
that they didn’t allow to escape,
to share it with everyone.
i won’t again miss,
the writing on the wall,
in the moment,
in the present.
