As you know the internet tracks you. No matter what you do or go, someone or a company is tracking you. They build a profile about you. They use this to serve you ads, sales, promotion, news, weather, and more. No one is not tracked, unless of course, you have use a VPN (that’s for another post). But remember these key facts about technology, EVERYONE CAN GET HACKED. It just all depends on who wants to hack you and the level of hacker that wants to hack you for your information. PROS of browsing incognito or private mode:
- You can see what general view of a website or sales that happens for everyone from a company that is not targeting you and only serving you a curated view of their site, store or offers.
- Cookies are not saved on to sites you view.
- The website you view cannot collect data on who you are based on the profile, your browser and websites already have collected about you.
- You will see better offers for sales, services and more via you not targeted.
- You can feel much safer knowing you are in control of your browsing session.
- There are many more perks, try it out.
