Ending The Year Off On A High | StoryTime

My Year In Review

Wow, the countdown is real. The anticipation of a new year. The build-up is so wild. The conversations I shared, the people I met, the photos I took and didn’t take—the list is huge. All of this was happening, and I was happy. I mean, I had some bad days, trust me.

THE BAD DAYS

I always lost my vision; I almost lost a leg. But I am happy for my vision and ability to walk. 2023 was so real, as it really lost a lot of people. I saw a lot of people suffering. I saw a lot of people blocking their own blessings. I was so confused, but I could understand that life is tough.

The Good Days

The 5-6 soccer games I went to were an amazing feeling; to the highly focused bonding time I had with my brother and mother made the good shine a bit brighter. The simple things were the biggest part of 2023. Oh man, I was tested, but I stuck it out according to the plan I had. I had to be present—more present than I have ever been—and supportive. I was really challenged. I like a good challenge, but this was hard but rewarding. I don’t know if people can be happy with that. Oh yea, I blogged and wrote on my website the entire year, like every day. I know it’s not the 31st yet, but in a calendar year, 365 days. Completed. It’s now legendary; it took 12–13 years to complete, but look at God. wow.

The Milestones

I broke some records this year and started some very important new habits. I have a whole post for this. Click here.

A short version of milestones:
– Invested into Stock more
– Planned a few vacations
– Celebrated myself more instead of just saying I knew I could do it. I did it, and respected that I really done it well for myself.
– Posted 365 days on my blog.
– Passed “515 days” writing.
– Hit my Fitness Goal on my Apple Watch for “583 Days” straight. The biggest streak of my life.

Conclusion

2023 was tough, but I hang on in there. As the world was spinning out of control, I held my ground. I could pretty up words more, but I don’t want or need to. I made the best of every little grain I was given.
