LAID UP | ROMANCE POETRY

I have been laid up,
Waiting on you,
To come through,
To do the things you do,
Perform all your moves,
In garments that are see through,
I could never be on my best behavior,
When it comes to you,
The way you make me feel,
Each time I am close to you,
I have things that rise,
Like eyebrows,
You teach me new things,
When I don’t know how,
To let off steam,
I dream,
Insert fantasy,
I am a bit passive see,
As you assert your ways,
It makes me say,
I am calling out from work today,
To be laid up,
With you.
