Progress in life and career can have its highs. More money, more respect, and a wealth of new experiences. To every joy or pain there is a sacrifice. We should create an escape or exit plan in case it’s doesn’t work. That is an important lesson of care of yourself. Like they say on the airplane, cover your face first with the mask before applying to someone else.
