Here we go again my friend,
Let’s get them resolutions popping,
No more flopping,
Matter of fact,
Let’s stop with the plotting,
Just run wild in with extremities,
And learn more life lessons,
So you can transfer your experiences,
Into the path of someone else’s vision,
And show them what not to do,
Soon you will see who is the true you,
While slowing down with the antics,
And plan things, execute and win,
A smile on the face,
And not fall from an uppercut from right under your chin.
Happy New Year to all… It’s exciting to say we have reached here again, let’s make some memorable experiences. What is just one thing you would like to get done or do this year?
It seems everyday I look we losing bodies,
Bodies just wasted,
Left on the ground,
Wasted,
Bodies out at sea,
Can’t even be found,
Drowned in sorrow we try hard for reform,
Wasted,
Another body gone,
A little one didn’t even make it out the womb to be born,
Bodies here, bodies there,
Bodies everywhere caught in the gossip,
Talking foolishness get money quick schemes,
Swipers credit card fraud,
Their minds can’t be seen,
Brain washed zombies,
It seems we in the walking dead,
Bodies in poverty can’t even be fed,
A society can’t be led,
We better off dead,
Just maybe,
If I asked the new generation to read these bars,
They would seek for wifi signals,
Bars can’t be read.
Known for taking your lunch money after school,
Always against the grain,
Literally went chaotic when I hop off the plane,
In the city where everybody claims to be king,
With more losses than they got wins,
Grinning in my face thinking I was planning to spray them with mace,
An escape into the realm,
Of creativity and evolving into masterpiece,
To infinity and beyond, call me buzz light,
You burn slow, I burn bright,
Ready to take anyone on I am truly the nemesis,
No amateur at what I do,
You just ain’t see me do what I do,
Until I unfold in front of you,
Are your eyes open yet?

Naturally I am an artist retarted with lyrics,
No gimmicks,
I write verses all day,
I perform and display from for my friends,
We get hype off of every line,
Because of word play and their design,
So I channel an inner fury,
I escape every lick on pages so sick,
I couldn’t have imagined it until written,
In my bathroom or basement spitting,
Every word hitting,
I salute all those that uses the pen,
Even my blog gods,
I ride with them.
In the essence of 11/1/14 “National Author Day” I salute my poetic friends in the blog world, and this poem/lyrical piece goes out to them. I respect your talents and art form. I wish you the best, the words I read that you have written, you guys are nice with the pen.
I might have missed a few name, past, present and future in my list… But as you read this piece, it’s all love. Hold your pen in the sky, or you finger up before you type. 🙂
Just know I think of you guys as my band of brothers and sisters with a pen.
No need to respond to this post, but if you want to drop a comment to a dope post or respond back, it would be much appreciated…
I would be living off every word read,
Every phrase written,
Every page read,
I am in your hands,
Do what it is you want with me,
Laugh, think, share, be amazed,
For every page you pass,
Is a life lived within your mind,
Quote my words,
Memorize my metaphors,
Adopt my similes,
For through books we grow,
We experience and learn to know,
That words can change lives,
And using words is an art,
So cherish each word you love,
And let each word live on.

If I were a book I would be a nice hard cover book. I mean like the light version though. I so specific with books that I can’t really just be a paperback. It’s weird to me. I am not saying it feel cheap, I am saying I would when you hold me book it feels as powerful as the words inside. The genre of book I would be is a combination or comedic short stories and an autobiography. I feel you got to have a bit of fiction with life so you can live more and you can laugh with some of the mistakes you make in life to teach someone to be better.
Q: If you were a book, what type of book would you be? What genre of books would you be in?
*Note: These written poetic and lyrics pieces are simply just jokes and comedic word play driven by poetry, free verse and haiku. So please enjoy for the sake of comedy and a good laugh.
M is for Money,
Mmmm don’t it smell good?
From the upper office down to the hood,
I mean we need it,
So we fight for it,
We cry for it,
I write for it,
But it,
Money,
Is one bad mother shut my mouth,
Hold on, I got to speak the truth,
We die for money,
We lie for money,
We fight for money,
We cry cause we got no money,
But what is money?
A value, or a piece of paper?
What can we do to get money?
So we can buy or purchase with it?
Our talents and skills can get us money,
So why don’t we call our talent’s money,
The thoughts of skills are can get are us working to get money,
Until we have that talent or skill, then that is money,
I got money for writing,
I got money for poetry,
I got money for photography,
I got money for me being myself,
So as are reading this, I am spending and giving away money,
And that’s money,
SPLASH,
Credit or Cash?
I want both.
Clean,
So sparkling new,
I am a groove,
Now what is my mood,
I am on edge,
I beg for the new feel,
It’s real,
Let’s make a deal,
I signed the contract,
Big check concealed.
